I have no doubt it will get the job done, but not sure how well it will stand up

So I needed this for a trip to cut some wood for a single trip . It worked very very well, made all the difference in moving logs ...4 feet logs 24 in diameter and easy to move by my self ... handle was sold and thick all metal did well . 2 of these and 2 people could roll a big log ... I would buy again , can’t speak to durability , but it work for me .

A friend told me about this tool and I am beyond pleased with it! I use it to roll over big logs that are on the ground. I will make cuts on one side, then roll the log to finish the cuts so I don’t dull my chainsaw by hitting the ground! I am a petite 120 lb female and I can easily roll over massive logs on the ground! It is a fantastic tool!

Pretty good so far. I have never used one before so it is taking me a while to learn how to properly use it as in releasing the tree from the hook. I have a mix of large (15" and bigger) and small trees and it grabs the big ones really good. The smaller ones not so much. With all that being said, it has helped alleviate my back pain and I am glad I purchased it. 4 stars because of the way it was packaged. The handle had a few pretty deep gouges in it because it wasn't wrapped with anything, only the hook part was boxed.

This thing is massive. Like most other reviewers have said, the tip of the green part needs to be sharpened. Without sharpening it, it will only work if you can catch it on a knot or something. I've moved massive logs with this, like around 28" diameter and had to put all my weight into it. It did just fine. If you have a way to sharpen the tip, then go with this one and save some money.

Should work good for turning logs that I use to turn bowls . The bolt and nut that holds the hook on were two different sizes. O well it’s made in China.

The hook came completely dull, will not grab onto anything, good luck turning logs like that. I have a few other peaveys and this one is definitely the worst.... The angle on the hook is also not the right one, so even after sharpening the tip, it is quite hard to get a good grip on a log.

The wood handle is very weak and broke. Seems to be made from a softwood not a hardwood like you would expect. I should have kept packaging so I could send it back

Has been a handy tool for rolling medium size logs for cutting. Seems sturdy enough but not the toughest I have seen for sure. Gets the job done at a reasonable price.

Had to go out a buy a new bolt, the nut was way to big... other then that, it works great

not the best quality, but certainly good for the price.. nice sturdy handle so you can really move heavy logs around. i like that the metal parts are neon green too, so easily spotted in the jobsite.
