So much better than glossy paper when using alcohol inks.
Great for use with alcohol inks.

Clear, flexible, all the things, for a good price.
I have only used one sheet so far, and not for my original intended purpose, which was "shaker" greeting card windows. I cut a few small squares out of one sheet of craft plastic, and secured plastic aquarium plants to them with hot glue. Then I hot-glued the craft plastic to the bases of Mason jars. This has worked very well so far. After nearly two weeks, no plants have detached and floated to the top of my fake aquarium jars. My plastic fish looks quite content in the posted photo! I feel confident that the sheets will hold up well on greeting cards, because they're doing well under water and aquarium Gravel, so far.

Excellent Value/Good for Alcohol Ink Art
The quality is good, almost identical to yupo paper, and the value is excellent! You get more bang for your buck. I use these plastic sheets for alcohol ink art and it works perfectly. Each sheet is strong, fairly thick and sturdy, although flexible as well. I love the large 12" x 12" size. If you're on a budget but need good quality paper for alcohol-based mediums, this is a great choice! By the way, to get all the tiny dots, I sprayed the sheet using a spray bottle filled with 90% isopropyl alcohol. I didn't know exactly what to expect, but it worked like a charm!

Better than Yupo
I have been using alcohol inks for a little while, and am always interested in testing out different papers for them. Some recommend photo paper, Nara paper, Yupo paper, etc. But I saw this on a video and the artist recommended trying it, so I couldn't resist. I like the different sizes, the price point and the fact that you can wipe it completely clean when you screw up! How can that be beat!? I purchased the 12x12 and just cut them down to smaller sizes if I don't want to do something that large. Works out perfectly.

Count Your Sheets!
My package arrived open. I counted and recounted the sheets and there was 24 not 25. This leads me to believe that this was a returned item. Not worth the time to send it back for a replacement as it took longer than expected to arrive. Otherwise the product is good for what I need.

It's 254 microns thick. Excellent price!!! Good quality!
I converted .01" to microns and found this is 254 microns thick. I did this to compare to Yupo and NARA which have different thicknesses. There are some inexpensive Nara papers, but this is thicker. I have used this for two alcohol ink paintings and found it to be less staining than Yupo, but I like the staining quality of Yupo for backgrounds better. It is easier to wipe the slate clean with this paper, so that's a plus. Each paper will have different uses. Also, I had some trouble with blowing this with an airbrush, but next time will try wiping down the page with alcohol first. Also, I wonder if both sides are useable. One seems glossier/smoother than the other, or is that my imagination? Again, I'll do more experiments. I do like the price of this quite a bit, and it will be my go-to paper for practicing techniques. Also, I'll get the 12x12 and cut it up to make some color swatches which I always do with any medium, watercolors, colored pencils, etc. Makes it easier to choose colors. I also like that this is archival like Yupo. I couldn't find any info on Nara papers being archival on their website or descriptions. I posted a question, so perhaps it's hidden somewhere and I'll find it. Non-archival paper will yellow in about 10 years, so I always consider that.

LOVE this stuff
I have used a number of papers meant for alcohol ink...........but THIS STUFF IS FAR AND ABOVE all the rest (I did not try Yupo because of its price). When you drop your ink on this paper you have time before the ink dries up!! and the ink with alcohol moves so so so nice on the surface. i am more than pleased I purchased this, I got the 9x12 because I got more sheets for my money, but I think I will be adding the 12x12 packet too.

I use these with alcohol inks - > fantastic results!
I’m in love with these craft plastic sheets. Alcohol inks work beautifully on them to create interesting and exciting backgrounds for pictures you could frame or for handmade cards (which is what I use them for). You can get a lot of card backgrounds out of one sheet.
