Pros: After experimenting with two other budget-friendly brands, I learned the hard way why Philips Hue commands a premium price—they simply work flawlessly. These bulbs are great. Not too hard to Set up and work like a charm.

Great bulbs. These are smaller than the other e12 base hue bulbs, making them perfect for sconces. Easily dimmed via the app, alexa, apple home, or google home.

Very Nifty Invention. Providing versatility of options for Smart Lighting choices. Whereas not just only having to be dependent upon The Plug-in Smart Outlets ( which take up outlet space) or the need to Install The Smart Switches to your existing electrical wiring ( which for very old homes with old wiring is not always compatible with). So this was an awesome find that I came across, since I wanted to convert my outside Lamp-pole and indoor overhead lights to Smart Technology. We initially attempted to install a Smart Switch to my very old existing electrical wiring and it proved unfortunately to not be compatible. So I installed the Stand-Alone Smart Bluetooth Light bulbs instead. And they're now also synced in with ALEXA helping me to conserve on light consumption as I now have the ease of putting them on a time schedule. However, the Smart Bluetooth Lightbulbs were very difficult at first to get them to connect. Because my Outside Lamp-pole has a 3 Candle Shaped light bulb design and because they're all right next to one another it made it very tricky to get each one of them to link into their own separate signal. We learned that you have to hold your cell phone almost right next to each bulb as you repeatedly keep trying to get a connection.

The colors are vibrant, the brightness is consistent, and the app makes controlling multiple bulbs effortless. Perfect for creating any mood or ambiance.

They work well, good light intensity

It’s HUE….you know what you are getting if you have bought them. I use these in all my outside lights and they are HUE…enough said.
