Sweet sound and voice , bass not too strong but enough, treble sound is good details / no fan noise / Bluetooth easy to connect (within 5 meters, more than 6 meters will disconnect) . Multi connection, everything is good.

Amazing sound from this cumbrige audio AXR 100 with a combination with sx 60 speakers give an amazing sound

i brought the axr100 in march 2021 in the last 12 months the remote would work when it wanted to,i recently brought a replacement(from cambridge £24.99)and now the remote only works around 1 hour after i have switched the amp on by hand.Cambridge can you tell me if this is a known issue?

Connection to Bluetooth is a chore akin to breaking into Fort Knox. Remote control is ungodly and designed by an anti designer. Buttons tiny, please have super super vision. Sound quality is ok, not amazing, just ok. Wouldn’t buy again.

If you’re thinking of buying this, do it ! The sound quality is great, I am running a pair of warfedale valdus 500 floor standing speakers. I have only had this up half way and it drives them amazingly well. Bass and treble controls via the main display, not sure if they can be adjusted from the remote. The Bluetooth connection is great, it’s version 5 I believe. This can run two pairs of speakers via the A port and B port, these can be ran individually or together. The build quality is great, it’s got some weight to it and it looks great.

A lot of amp for the money; 100w/channel, FM, built in phono stage, bluetooth and DAC. Bought this to use in my second system, being a long time fan of CA. The internal DAC and phono stage are both lacklustre, so I switched to external units. The FM tuner is just ok, no more; a separate s/h Denon Tuner sounds much better. And there's no RDS, just basic station name info. The remote is plasticky, badly laid out and works poorly off axis. Even the basic sound is lacklustre; ok with rock and pop but can't cope with the classical, jazz and ambient music I listen to. My Denon DM41DAB sounds better with only 30 watts per channel. Looks like value for money. Isn't.

I love this amp. Banana plugs make it a lot easier to connect. The sound is amazing,crisp notes I didn’t get from my old Technics amp.

Bought this to replace a used 18 year old reciver that broke down, decided to take a punt on this little beauty, got some weight to it for its size, it has enough power to run my mission speakers witch was my main goal

Après plus de deux mois d'utilisation, cet amplificateur-DAC-tuner s'avère d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Il est arrivé dès bien emballé avec un jour d'avance, et son installation ne requiert aucune compétence particulière, et le manuel utilisateur très schématique s'avère amplement suffisant pour les branchements et les services de base. On peut télécharger, sur le site de l'importateur français, une version plus complète de ce manuel. Esthétiquement, il s'avère très réussi : la couleur "Luna Grey" lui permet de s'intégrer avec discrétion dans n'importe quel intérieur, et les commandes sont implantées rationnellement, l'écran des menus étant par ailleurs bien lisible. La télécommande est très directionnelle, et les sérigraphies bleues sur fond gris foncé sont parfois peu lisibles -elle sert aussi à piloter les lecteurs CD de la même série AX chez le constructeur-. D'un point de vue sonore, cet ampli est une vraie réussite -et c'est d'ailleurs pour cela que je l'ai acheté-. Belle image sonore en largeur et en profondeur, grande réserve de puissance qui lui permet de driver des enceintes réputées un peu difficiles -faible rendement et courbe d'impédance torturée-, bonne neutralité générale… Le DAC est de très bonne qualité et permet d'exploiter un lecteur réseau piloté par iPad dans d'excellentes conditions -via liaison Toslink-, l'entrée CD analogique est au même très bon niveau. Le tuner s'avère très sensible et le bluetooth est exploitable sans décrochage pour une distance inférieure à 2 mètres environ. Un excellent ampli, très complet, au rapport qualité-prix très attractif.

Ich hatte zuvor schon einige kleinere Kraftpakete Fosi zB. für ca.100€ bis 170€ getestet. Der Cambridge hatte aber deutlich mehr Qualität und für besseren Hörgenuss gesorgt als alle anderen. Über Bluetooth bin Ich sehr zufrieden und überzeugt. Leider kam es nach ca. Fünf Tagen zu einem komischen Auftreten von ungleichem Stereoklang der das komplette Klangbild veränderte. Mit der Klinke zum TV war alles in Ordnung, Radiosender auch, nur bei Bluetooth war es nur noch schlecht. Ich war sehr überrascht und traurig weshalb das auf einmal Auftrat. An den Lautsprechern konnte es nicht liegen, daher habe Ich es wieder zurückschicken lassen. Und mir dennoch den gleichen zu kaufen. Ich weiß nicht wie der aufgetretene zu stande kam. Dennoch war ich vom Klangbild begeistert. Seit Ich jetzt den Neuen Cambridge habe, ist er bis heute complet ok. Also Ich hoffe das es dabei auch bleibt. Für 670€ mag er etwas teurer sein als die kleinen und günstigeren. Aber wer etwas mehr auf Klarheit im Klangbild und Hörgenus will, empfehle Ich trotzdem dieses Gerät. Die Fernbedienung ist zwar nicht ganz so gut aber das macht mir nichts. Kaufempfehlung an sonsten auf jeden Fall.

Da acquistare ad occhi chiusi. Dettagliatissimo, anche a volumi decisamente proibitivi. Affiancateci delle buone casse, dei buoni cavi ed un buon DAC, o comunque una sorgente di qualità. Vi darà delle soddisfazioni incredibili. Non è mai stancante, ma riesce a non essere noioso. Ti fa cogliere dettagli e sfumature di canzoni che magari hai sentito fino allo sfinimento, già da appena collegato. Il mio è ancora in pieno rodaggio ma nonostante ciò mi sono sentito di recensirlo. Unico neo il telecomando un po' economico e la ventola che fa un leggero rumore prima di fermarsi, o almeno nel mio esemplare. Sono troppo contento dell' acquisto che ho fatto, lo consiglierei ad occhi chiusi. Ho abbinato delle Indiana line DJ 308, DAC S.M.S.L DO 100 e cavo Ricable U40 e la catena suona da dio nonostante le casse stanno suonando posizionate su due sedie da cucina in attesa che arrivino gli stand appositi. Anche le casse sono ancora in rodaggio ma suonano maestosamente.
