Works great with Insignia dash cam
This was a good solution for an Insignia dashcam whose suction-cup mount started falling off in warm weather, then eventually stopped holding at all. This universal mount came with many adapters, and one fit the Insignia dashcam perfectly. It was easy to attach to the rear-view mirror and has been stable. All in all a great value.

Does it’s job
When I bought this, there wasn’t a picture of the several attachments that connect to the dash cam.Because of that I gambled and bought this one for my 2005 tundra.Unluckily for me, there wasn’t an adapter for my dash cam, but after Jerry rigging the closest attachment, this has been study and solid for over a year.

Most important parts are missing
I've ordered this mount twice and both times I'm missing parts. The actual mount and screws have not been included either time.

Very simple to assamble it and with enough parts to attach the dashcam
I was very dissapointed with the use of the suction devices because sooner or later they would fell down and sooner or later, you yould have to replace them. So this option that can be attached to your rear view mirror was the best to do the job. It is very simple to be assambled but before trying to install it, my advice is to try to assamble the pieces in advance in a comfortable place where you can make sure what is the best option to try in the final execution. There are two kind of screws (long or short) to be used. If you choose the long ones without really requiring them, you might have issues with the dashcam. I didn't have enough space to install them, so I decided to use the nots close to the ceiling of the car. You might use a rag to cover down the space where it will be installed, other way you might loose the nuts while installing them. Net net, it's very simple, but preparation could improve and facilitate the installing experience

So much better than Suction cups
My dash cam has hung from my window by suction cup for years, the problem is in the summer. I live in the deep South where it gets super hot, especially inside a closed up car, and this always caused the suction cup to come loose several times. This thing holds securely at a good level. Some have complained about difficulty of installing, yes it can be a little difficult but once you get it up there you don't have to move it again and you know it isn't going to fall off, so it's worth it.
