Love this retractable dog leash. Doubles as nite flashlight and a poop finder at night.I have arthits (bad hands) the handle is very comfortable when walking our midsize dog.

In the first four minutes this sharper image retractable dog leash broke. It wasn’t even being used I was trying to put the batteries in. Which by the way the batteries don’t fit the light doesn’t work any top plastic piece fell off to even open the compartment case. The retractable leash doesn’t work it just stays in the lock position don’t bother buying this

The return spring is only good for about three months and then it breaks. The first time that it happened I just bought a new one, but after the second one also broke I figured out how to repair it myself.

What I like is the fact that it has everything I need attached to the lease. The light is bright and works great. I use it often now that its starting to get dark earlier. Before I purchased this leash I used to tie a small flash light and poop bad holder to the leash. I walk to 2 dogs and all the stuff tied to the leashes would get tangled. I don’t have to worry about that with this leash.What I don’t like is the tether gets stuck once in a while and you have to pull on it to get it to retract which is not good if you are trying to pull your dog in. The mechanism to lock and release the leash is not easy to use. For example, if your dog is walking far from you and you want to pull him in you have to press the lock then press the release several times while tugging on the leash to bring the dog closer. My other retractable leashes you push the button up and down while pulling the dog in, the mechanism wouldn’t lock unless to push the mechanism forward to lock it.All in all the leash works good and I am happy with it after getting used to the way the retracting mechanism works.

Has everything I need...a strong LED light for evening walks, comfortable handle, good leash length, and the bonus of bag storage.

Purchased two:* Ergonomically poor.* Product is bulky especially when trying to handle two of them with one hand.* Too small to fit an adult male hand well.* Bag dispenser fell apart and small part lost after first use.* Retraction mechanism weak, does not retract without manual assistance* Retraction mechanism failed completely on one of them after two months* Built in LED light very weak and essentially useless* Not worth the price.Follow up:Just after reviewing this product, the locking mechanism on the second unit broke. Now both these items are totally useless

I bought two of these units for dogs. With the built in flashlight and waste bag holder, what could be wrong? Well, I discovered that the push button would lock when you pressed the button too hard, whether you wanted to or not. Then the tape reached the end of the reel one afternoon and simply came out. I tried to repair it by opening it and rewinding the tape. The flashlight pieces, the lock button, and other small pieces all fell out. I ended up tossing the whole works after having it less than 2 months. The button lock on the second unit second unit, then broke off inside.Both have been replaced with Flexi units, which are much better quality and sturdier.

Great product for my 172b Jug. Reflectors and flash light at night and early morning are a great feature!
