Worth every penny
Do not go and spend a fortune on other measurement microphones with impressive labels. In reality they are all flat eq measurement microphones. I used this as an RTA microphone with a DBX PA Plus PA management rack. This microphone works flawlessly and EQ'd the room perfectly. I work for one of the biggies and our measurement microphone is 4X the price because it has a fancy badge on it. When I compared the sound pickup signature from this microphone to the one that my company makes, they're virtually the same. This microphone does the job perfectly.

Very nice. Note it does require phantom power.
Very nice. Note it does require phantom power, which was not clear to me when I purchased. But does a nice job for room equalization and ringing out monitors.

Perfect for DIY
Perfect. Thanks.

Appears to be a good value...
This mic requires a mic cord which is not included. When the cost of a mic cord of the type needed is added, it's not such a bargain.

Great value for money
made my home studio flat in a glance (Presonus Eris 4.5)! the condenser comes with calibration curve document (paper) measured individually for each unit. works great out of the box. needs 48v. make sure you also calibrate for your own interface frequency response, too (by looping output into input plug to generate calibration file in REW).it's omnidirectional, and everything as advertised. great!

Same as the Rational Acoustics - Decent cal mic for the money!
Supposedly this is the same mic as offered by Rational Acoustics and dbx. I wish they had an online means for looking up the response curves like the Dayton Audio mics have. These mics tend to have a consistent +2dB rise ~10k, where the Daytons are a little more consistently smoother across the spectrum. But, for a $42 mic, they're great - I got 4 of these for 1/2 the cost of an iSEMcon 7150, and I'm much more comfortable putting them out in a harsh environment than the iSEMcon or Earthworks.

Best for the money
This mic is incredible, I bought 2 to use as room mics. They are extremely flat and true to that, and I even used it to capture impulse responses all over the empty Frank Lloyd Wright house that we were selling that I grew up in, the empty place sounded great. Great room mic for drums, and I even used it as a bass/guitar amp room mic. One instance I used it as a close acoustic mic on a song and it sounded wonderful.

It’s dope 👌
Does exactly what you want it to. And, despite their caveat, I’ve been getting some killer overheads using this microphone in the studio, especially for ride cymbal. Love it.
