First impressions are great! It’s the size and has the features I’ve wanted. Un-expanded it’s the same size as my existing Inateck backpack which fits under airline seats perfectly. The expansion zipper adds another 4.5 inches to the bag making it an ideal crossover luggage item for those 3 and 4 day trips. It says it’s a 45L backpack but if you do the calculations it’s more like 47 or 48 when expanded. I was tired of using a duffel bag for short trips and having to pull charging adapters and other items out of my backpack to put in my duffel and then later having to move those items from my duffel back to my backpack. This bag works for both. ___________ Update - I’m super impressed with how thoughtfully designed this bag is. For me it’s the perfect combination of a backpack and a small suitcase. The only critiques I can make are small. The shoulder straps could use a little more padding. It would also be nice if they could be detached and hidden away like some of the other convertible backpacks I’ve seen. That said however this is the best one I’ve found, and I have tried many others…

This bag seems very well made. I bought it to travel to Scandinavia for 20 days to be used as my personal item along with a carry on roller bag. It holds a lot, is light weight, and the straps are sturdy. The chest strap is great so the shoulder straps don’t slip off. The trolley strap is a must so I’m glad that’s part of the bag. It’s very structured as well, so it keeps its shape, which I like. The laptop section is very well padded. My husband likes it so much I just ordered him the larger 45L size. He normally uses a large Nomatic backpack…however that one is too large for a carry on bag or personal item on the smaller European airlines we are using to travel from some places. I’ll update the review after the trip when we use the bags daily for a few weeks. So far though my new bag looks sturdy and ready to handle the trip.

I travel for work. 2 days out of the week I am out of town and I wanted to minimize my travel kit to one bag. Instead of a suit case. I thought I would have to make decisions on leaving some things behind because I thought it was going to be smaller. And I couldn't be more wrong. This bag holds a crazy enough of stuff. So I have my clothes, a towel, a tablet, notebook, steam deck, back up batteries, a 60 percent mechanical keyboard, and even an electric blanket. I even have few odds and ends that I did not name specifically like toiletries. And all of that stuff fits. It's a tight fit but I am amazed by the utilization of the space here. It is well built and I love the compression feature on the clothes. My only complaint is that it could use another compression strap on the top and bottom to really squish down the clothes to save space. Great quality on the materials, the zippers are not binding even though they are stretched pretty well and the way it opens up is amazing. I cannot give enough praise to how well thought out the design was for this bag. A couple notes in case anyone cares, I drive to work so I do not know how well this will fit on the plane. It looks like it will fit but I cannot guarantee it.

First off... I'm just the average Joe preparing for an international flight next month, so trust me that this is not a paid review. In fact, I've never written such a glowing recommendation for any other product to date. That said... I am very pleased with my purchase and think this is the best backpack for airline travel that I've seen for use of storing personal under the seat in front of you meeting TSA requirements. Tons of zippered storage areas. Almost every inch is used efficiently to give you the maximum amount of storage area on every side and layer. Includes an integrated sealed plastic zippered pouch for gels, liquids, etc., an integrated USB cable to attach your battery backup power bank, and can be carried like a briefcase, or slid over the handle of your roller travel bag, or worn as a backpack. The quality of materials appear excellent and the style is simple and elegant. The only con I can think of is that there are so many zippers for the storage areas, you will need plenty of TSA approved locks giving added weight. If not, use little bells and you'll sound like Santa on approach and raise the Christmas spirit in everyone. (Joking)
