Homestuck cosplay without the mess!!
Used for troll cosplay! I was sollux and my buddy was terezi.Tldr; The coverage was great, the staying power was great, the price is awesome. I absolutely recommend this! For the nitty-gritty:We applied this after using an elf primer, and used nyx setting powder, and the urban decays all nighter setting spray. PLEASE seal it!!This is a cool grey, with a lot of blue in it. If you are cosplaying as a warm-blooded troll you will have to mess around with color theory to make it work. As sollux I added some orange to my cheeks as well, because the yellow alone looked like tennis ball green over this grey.It took a couple coats of makeup to ensure full coverage, at least 2, but I think realistically, 3. We then used black eyeshadow for contour, and white mehron for highlight, over the grey. The mehron grey and white were both applied via sponges, all other makeup was done via brush or finger. It was easy to blend the eyeshadow into the grey for a natural-looking face. We also used eyeshadow for the blush, and that worked well.I suggest using a powder over the eyelid, especially if you have deep set eyes like me. We used grey and THEN applied any color over that. And lots of primer. We both had to wear glasses, and throughout the con I took off my glasses and put them on many times in order to see well and give my eyes a break, and the makeup only removed a little bit. I am not a sweaty person so this helped. My glasses did not have nose-pads. My friend had nose-pads and sweats more and she lost a lot more makeup in that area. She also had a little bit of a sheen of skin my lunch time around her cheek, but it was easy to touch up.

Great for cosplay
I used this to cosplay as Raven from Teen Titans (2005) and this stick plus a setting power and spray worked so well! Honestly had a hard time getting it off after the con!

Good, But Beware: Does Not Fully Dry Down
I didn't have time to remix my Mehron Paradise cakes for this convention, so I wanted to get a face paint that actually came in light grey for my Homestuck/Hiveswap cosplays. It's a positive-leaning mixed bag, so I'll break it down. My routine for just the paint is primer, paint, set with powder, and spray with Ben Nye Final Seal.PROS:- Application: Given its format as a foundation stick, it goes on a thousand times easier than any water based cake. No accidentally wiping off the layer below, no streaks, incredibly blendable. One layer is usually good. Sometimes you can see through it but it's very easy to just set the paint and then add a little more on top.- Touch-Ups: Because it never fully dries down, if you need to touch up, it's super easy. For both these cosplays, I had glasses, which meant in those spots on my nose it rubbed off. It was really easy to just take a brush to the stick and fill in those little gaps.- Blending: Very easy considering what we're working with. It's better to tap/dab things on than to wipe because, as it does not dry down, you can wipe off the paint by rubbing at it too much. The brushes I used for my eyes and contour did get a little grey while i was applying the makeup, but they all cleaned up fine with a little brush cleaner from elf. I also think that having that little bit of grey on the brush helped blend everything better.CONS:- It never fully dries down. This is why I said beware. This is NOT something you should put on parts of your body that aren't your head or your neck. You WILL leave cream paint on everything you love. If your paint makes contact with clothing, it WILL leave spots on it. You can scrub at these with a makeup wipe sometimes and that helps if it's fresh. I haven't done a full thorough scrub on the makeup brush I used to apply this paint, but so far my attempts have been pretty futile. This also means that you can see skin spots on your eyelids if you blink sometimes.- Removal: I've found it's a bit more difficult than water-based face paints. With them it's a pretty quick scrub with my cleanser and I have almost all of it off. With this cream, it takes about 5-10 minutes of scrubbing with cleanser to get a good amount off, then you have to go back and scrub with a makeup wipe. This can't be removed with just water.Overall I will definitely use this up - it's a good paint. But I may look into alternatives for the future, maybe something that sets a little better.

Mehron my beloved
Always come back to Mehron for face paint and tooth paint. Very good brand. Good coverage and easy blending.

Holds up great and easy to take off!
I bought three colors-black, grey and white, for my mom's Halloween costume. She was a ghost bride. I needed something that would be easy to take off but also durable to last hours. She works as a front end manager at a grocery store and they dress up. So I needed it to last a full shift. These did the trick! There was a little bit of a learning curve. I used YouTube videos from both the company's channel and other how to's. From there I figured out how to use them best to give my mom a ghostly look. It went on really nice and smooth, like foundation. So that helped me figure out a little to give a base color. The rest I used makeup brushes.I got the setting spray too which helped a lot maintaining it. My mom was able to take it off super easy in the shower when she got home with no reaction to her skin.Definitely recommend this brand if you need an all over look for a costume or something similar to body paint. I barley used any of it for her whole face since it is water activated so a little goes a long way.

Great product, but needs packaging
The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried to order this product two times and both times it was broken. this product needs to come in a small box so that it doesn’t get destroyed during shipping. It’s very pigmented and does the job but the sticks keep coming destroyed.
