Yum!
I would sprinkle this on my husband if he would let me. It’s so delicious! I love that it’s 10% as opposed to most, which are 5%. Love it on avocados, scrambled eggs, corn on the cob, pasta, mozzarella, you name it!

A MAY ZING
This stuff smells like literal crack. I could smell it through the amazon package, before I even opened it. It is amazing, SO MANY TRUFFLE PIECES IN IT. I mean a little half teaspoon will go a long way! Will definitely always have this in my spice arsenal. Even though salt isn't technically a spice...Other reviews say it doesn't have the "%" sign.. mine does, I had to go back and check. This will be a staple in my pantry. I know a lot of high end chefs say truffle is overrated... at restaurants maybe, because they add on another 45% because of it. But not at home!! And not if you buy the high end stuff

Best for authentic truffle flavor
Most authentic out of the top 10 brands on Amazon. Tried em all. There are less expensive brands if you like the artificial truffle flavor, some people apparently prefer that. This won't beat fresh truffles, but it will scratch the itch.Closest I've found to eating fresh truffle.

Son
My son loves this product, you want the highest 10% truffle in your salt. There are others, but are not the same.

would buy again -- with caveats
Ah, the sensual taste of black truffles. This salt includes generous bits of black summer truffles, not winter truffles, but that's good enough for me. At least you know that you're getting actual truffle substance, in contrast to truffle oil, which often contains synthetic compounds (truffle "essence").I received this package last night and already sprinkled this truffle salt on mashed potatoes and on a veggie burger. I'm looking forward to adding this to my scrambled eggs every morning and creating a blend with unsalted butter. As far as the truffle salt itself goes, I only wish that this were available at an even higher concentration than 10%.The main problem is the packaging. The lid does not keep in the beautiful aroma of truffles -- I don't mind the smell in the kitchen, but all that wonderful flavor won't end up in the food. I've portioned out some in a camping (screwtop) salt shaker so that I can keep the main stash in a ziploc bag. But to reiterate, the lid itself is really a bad packaging job. In fact, the jar was open when it arrived! I'm not sure whether to blame the manufacturer or Amazon, but this meant the truffle salt spilled all over the inside of bubble wrap and the cardboard box. I recovered most, feeling somewhat pathetic about the effort, but this is expensive stuff and easily 10% to 20% of the product got lost in transit. I guess that tells you how good the stuff is.

WARNING - Delectable Aroma May Incite Direct Consumption From The Jar
WARNING: As tempting as it may be, eating salt directly from the jar is not recommended as it poses a significant health risk. Ingestion of pure salt can be fatal, and purposeful consumption of saturated salt solutions is a method of suicide, common at one time in China. If you've read some of the other reviews, you know how appealing the aroma of this product is. Practically makes you want to inhale it. Or just eat it directly from the jar . . . it's almost good enough to stand alone.Okay, I love this stuff, but even I don't eat it by itself. I say that it's almost good enough to stand alone, because I use it as the primary seasoning for my bread-dipping oil. It's an idea I borrowed from a restaurant, when I was trying to figure out how to eat this stuff straight out of the jar without causing bodily harm.I like to serve it at dinner in individual dipping bowls with a nice hearty or rustic loaf of bread. I start with about a ounce of good olive oil (PONS Early Harvest Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil 16 oz), some fresh cracked pepper (Frontier Gourmet Peppercorns, Pink 0.88 Oz Grinder Bottle both for aesthetics and flavor), and just over 1/8 tsp of this Selezione Tartufi Black Truffle Salt 10%, 3.5 Ounce Unit, stir and pour into a tiny dish to be placed at each plate. My family enjoys this is as a cholesterol-free and slightly fancier alternative to butter. It's salty, but really tasty as an occasional treat.
