Awesome Mustard You’ll Lovr
Love this mustard. We tried this type the first time on a visit to Germany and loved it with a pretzel. It’s also good on other items like hot dogs. The quality is outstanding and the sweet mustard spice level is perfect.

Closest to what I was looking for...
I fell in love with Bavarian Sweet Mustard, only to discover that it is a very rare commodity in America. This brand is not quite as good as Deutsche Kuche, the ALDI exclusive I grew to like so well. But, apparently ALDI only carries their brand as a seasonal item! I looked in every store I could think of, found lots of sweet mustards, but most were 'honey' mustards. The closest I found in stores was Canadian Maple mustard, which is very good but certainly different. The flavor of Lowensenf isn't quite as good as the ALDI one, but the texture is actually a little better. All in all, a great mustard!

It is sweet but a bit spicy - gives a great zing to bland food. I dip my chicken, fried pork cutlet and rice in it.

Can't find it in stores, but worth buying online
years ago I participated in a charcutarie class and one of the sauces available to use was this Bavarian sweet mustard. I never realized I was a fan of mustard until I had this. Years of using the "yellow bottle" I assumed mustard only tasted like on thing. Our teacher explained that she would like us to try something new and this was one of the items that I tried and Oh My Goodness!!! it was sooooo good. She said that when she travels she tries to find new flavors and this was one thing that she came back with during her travels one time. Well I'm so glad she took it upon herself to share this delicious condiment with us. This sweet mustard can elevate a sandwich to another level. I use it frequently for dipping as well.
