14mm 12 Point Spark Plug Socket 3/8-Inch Thin Wall Spark Plug Socket Compatible with BMW, MINI, Nissan, Mercedes

This is a nicely manufactered tool. It did what was required of it and made the work very simple. I particularly like the little plastic 'fingers' inside the socket that grip the spark plug and alows for easy removal and replacement of same from the deep 'tunnel' that is so prevalent on modern vehicles. In this case it was used on a R56 MIni and the plugs were held securely at all times.A very good, inexpensive tool that makes life easier.

Why did you choose this product over others?:fitted F55 Mini Cooper 1.5 turbo but needs a wobble fit extension it holds plug firmly while withdrawing and replacing to start threading by hand others claim a narrow wall fit this one delivers

As described and does the job

Went to a couple of car shops, each selling me one that would not fit down the shaft to reach the spark plugs. Ordered this and arrived the next day, did the job perfectly and in hindsight should have just ordered from here in the first place.The item itself is strong and grips the spark plugs well while removing. Back in the toolbox ready to use again in the future.

Only spark plug socket I’ve bought so far, even from the Mac tools van that hasn’t got stuck in the engine. Good quality for the price

It was time to change the spark plugs in my BMW 325i convertible (E93).I thought I had every conceivable type of sockets to complete this simple task, wrong. You need a "THIN WALL 14mm SPARK PLUG SOCKET".BMW has put another obstacle in the way for people outside the dealerships etc. to complete simple tasks with their cars. It's infuriating, I cannot see any reason for this other than to enforce you to take your car to the dealership.Anyway, this very economically priced socket did the job, & its barely half the cost of one of the spark plugs.So I now have another "specialist tool" to roll about in my socket set(s). I very much doubt I'll have to use it again as these plugs rarely need changing before they've done 40 - 100,000 miles
