Was so happy to find these on Amazon. I previously owned this same device and my elderly mother relied on it to get in/out of my car with ease. It acted as a handle on side of car. That with the cars grab bar allowed her to keep independence until she weakened. It also acts as a seatbelt cutter and window breaker. I will now gift these to new drivers or elderly friends

I purchased this car assist handle for my parents, and I am genuinely impressed with how well it is designed and built. My dad had a knee scope, and our goal was to give him **full independence while maintaining safety** getting in and out of the vehicle. This tool absolutely delivered. Both my mom and dad tried it and were shocked by how **easy it was to use** and how **secure it felt**. No complicated setup, no learning curve—just solid support where it’s needed. The build quality is excellent. This is not flimsy or gimmicky. It feels extremely sturdy, and I have zero doubt it could support someone well over 300 lbs. The grip is comfortable, stable, and inspires confidence the moment you use it. The added safety features were a pleasant bonus. The **flashlight** is small but surprisingly useful, and the **seat belt cutter** is thoughtfully included. We later realized it also has a **window breaker**, which thankfully we hope never needs to be used—but it’s reassuring to know it’s there. My parents liked it so much they immediately asked for a second one. I’ll actually be surprising them with **three more**—one for each side of both vehicles—so no matter where they are, they can safely get out without searching or struggling. This is one of those products that makes you wonder why every car doesn’t already come with it. Practical, well-made, and genuinely empowering. Highly recommend for anyone recovering from surgery, dealing with mobility issues, or simply planning ahead like a responsible adult (with a sense of humor and good insurance).

The car cane my daughter bought me was very helpful when stepping up into my truck & into my husband's truck. It was so helpful that my husband ordered a pk of 2! I'm 5'1.5" & "climbing" into taller vehicles can be a challenge.

I thought the window axe would be more pointy. But thankfully I haven’t had to need to use it. The grip is good and the belt cutter cuts materials well. The light also works.

Helps with easing into and out of the car. Especially good for those with knee replacements or arthritis. I ordered the 2 pack but was delivered the one pack: be careful!

These worked REALLY well and were better than the other ones on amazon. I got 2 different brands. These had inserts that went further into the door latch and were more stable!

If you have ANY issue getting in and out of the car, be it physical or emotional, then this grip is a MUST-HAVE! The Car Cane was designed by a genius inventor and fits .door with a U-shaped latch. You stick the metal tip in the door handle of any door when you need help holding on while getting in and out of your vehicle and grab on to it when you're getting in or out of your seat. It relieves stress on the back for some and gives weak legs and knees an extra standing boost for others! The Car Cane also has a seat belt cutter, flashlight, and glass breaker all-in-one! My husband has limited mobility and this makes it so much easier for him to get in and out of our vehicle. He also finds it handy for grabbing the door to close it! Highly recommend to anyone who needs that extra support.
