I like it
I have several of these, very useful while camping, or during power outages. What I like is,... that there is a low setting, low power consumption. This is a flexible lighting source, usable with my GZ Yeti's using the proprietary GZ, 12 volt ports, or anything with a regulated cigarette lighter port., the cigarette lighter cable with plug is included if you want to connect to those surces. There are extension cables available from GZ to extend the lights reach.

Much better than expected!
This thing is worth the extra money! The details available for this light are lacking, so it came as quite a surprise when I received it. It will work with other battery packs, using the included 12 volt "cigarette" outlet adapter. The cord wraps up under the removable shroud and is infinitely adjustable from a couple of inches to it's roughly 8 feet length. The light output is excellent, and they use higher quality warm white LEDs that are easier on the eyes than the cheap cook white ones. The magnets are plenty strong to support the light. there is a socket on the back so you can easily plug another light into the 1st. It has a proper heat sink to keep the LED cool. I would definitely buy again.

Very bright, quite durable, very versatile... Very expensive
These things are ridiculous Libre... One of these things can light up I mean tires 20 by 20 room... Two of them an opposite corners is borderline blinding... I set this up in a little safe room I have... Should power go out or anything like that I just plug in the Goal Zero and then we will have a small independent light source throughout the evenings... I definitely plan to get more... When I initially bought these I knew you can chain them but I didn't know up to how many so I'm definitely going to get more... the only downside of anyting is that the court is a little bit shorter than I would have liked... And the price point is a little high... however I definitely feel it's worth it... please know... The plug is built specifically for use with a goal zero power pack

Dependable and Bright Kool-Aid Lantern!
I'm using these off-grid and couldn't be happier. I don't usually write reviews; you pay for something, it works, case closed. But these are really impressive lights that are not only dependable and bright, they also allow for flexibility in placement due to the clever cabling design.Want a neat tip to diffuse the light if it's too bright, especially directly below it? Make a kool-aid lantern! Take an empty, cleaned white plastic powdered drink container. Remove the kool-aid (or Country Time, Gatorade, whatever) label. Remove the lid. Make some small cuts on the rim and fasten it to the light. Now you have a "bell" that softens the light and still provides ample brightness. Just hanging one of these from my cabin ceiling illuminates the entire place. Enjoy!

... of the Gen1 light a life lights and have loved them. They have served me and my family ...
I have owned several of the Gen1 light a life lights and have loved them. They have served me and my family well with no problems during power outages and camping. When I got this Gen2 light I was surprised how compact it can be and how the cord storage issue was resolved. The two mode option was a good improvement. They look nice and store well. I do have a couple of issues though. The Gen1 lights had the switch on the outside making it easy to locate in the dark and with gloves on. The Ge2 lights have a tiny toggle switch on the top near the power cord and the other outlet for chaining them together. This switch can be hard to locate and operate in the dark, if it is mounted overhead so you have to reach for it or nearly impossible if you are wearing gloves. The Gen2 light is compatible with the Gen1 lights and the 12V removable plug that comes with it is also interchangeable with the Gen1 lights. My big problem with it is it gave me a big flash of light and stopped working the second time I turned it on. I emailed the company and got no response, so I just returned it to amazon as a defective product. I am sure this is the exception with this company as I have a tendency to collect their products and this is the first problem I have encountered. You can’t go wrong ordering with amazon with their great return policy. Over all it is a great little light and I will be ordering more in the future.

Amazing Lights!
I’m so obsessed with these lights! Had a night time vendor event that said there was not gonna be electricity provided, so I looked into these lights since my husband already bought the Sherpa 100 pack. Although they certainly are pricey, I 100% believe that they are worth every penny! I bought 3 after reading reviews about how bright each light is. I needed to light a 10x10 foot space and although 3 works more than just fine and lights up the space with enough to see my display, 2 more would have really balanced out the light in my tent and make is so there wouldn’t be corners woth shadows. They are also super user friendly and easier to hang that string lights since these all come with their own carabiners and can interconnect with each other. I can’t comment yet on how much power all three used up since I just turned them on but I will certainly update! I’m super happy with this product and all Goal Zero products. They are certainly worth the purchase!

Great Product
Goal Zero makes a quality product. I bought one of these and ended up purchasing three more. High/low/off settings and cord is easy to adjust the length and daisy chain. Keep in mind that you need to use these with a Goal Zero battery.
