Norpro Mega Scoop/Spatula, Black Large

Perfect for nachos or cheesesteaks on the grill. I have a blackstone like insert and this high temp resistant tool is perfect for scooping and moving food around the hot grill top. Good size allows a large scoop. Flat edge can chop. Dishwasher clean up. Lightweight yet solid.

Large, so it works very well on a sheet pan. It's something I didn't know I needed until I was no longer frustrated by trying to gather and/or flip. Happy I went for it!

I purchased this scoop to help me with getting the ashes out of my pellet smoker. I will sweep them to one end and then it's difficult to actually get them out. I have used a spatula from the kitchen but it has no sides and also has slots in it. This has sides and no slots. The reason for 4 stars is the end is rather stiff with very little flex, I may end up heating the end to put a little more natural curve into it for my use

Actually bought this to use in my classroom. Quickly scoops up puzzle pieces and even completed sections, to slide back into the box.

I purchased this based off a review that said this was great for the Pitboss ceramic grill. It definitely is not. This is plastic. The ends are sort of jagged plastic. A few months of using this and I'd have all sorts of ceramic problems on my griddle. It does however work okay for putting under a cutting board and pushing the food off the board onto this. Sort of non useful to me though because my cutting board is not too heavy to just lift & scrape. The handle spot is slippery & would function better with a silicone grip on it. Gets nasty feeling quickly when picking up oven baked tots.Also the adhesive is difficult to remove upon opening as other reviews state.

This was an impulse buy because it looked cool and it turned into multiple purchase for my friends and family! It is a must have item you never knew you needed. Makes transferring hot food a snap. Its so sturdy, I wont need to buy a replacement but Ill definitely buy more for Christmas gifts!
