Quality component
Very accurate rotary sensor (used in robot arm). Much more accurate than 10k potentiometers used before. The analogue to digit converter that I use resolves voltage output to 0 to 256 then back to 0 again (there is no stop at the end of scale).

Seems to work very well
I'm using this as to measure the bearing of my large astronomical telescope, feeding into an Arduino Mega via an analogue input. Seems to give stable and consistent results.The spindle turns very smoothly and freely.
