Easy to hook up and use
Used it for triggers in Halloween Maze and it worked great. Easy to set up and align and the LED's on it make it easy to validate it is working correctly. Ordered more after original order...recommend.

Worked exactly as I expected
I bought this sensor to use on a dog trap. Basically, the dog had to walk through the photoelectric beam to make the trap door slam closed. It worked perfectly. I also was pleased that the wires that come from the sensor are longer that a previous sensor I bought. The length gave me the ability to connect the sensor to a magnet. I would buy this product again.

Works great for Halloween props!
I used this product in a Halloween project. They work great will setting off a prop. The reflector breaks easily, but the sensor works great.

good sensor, but missing specs and note the MSR function
The sensor is pretty small and compact.Since the listing does not contain the specs here they are:Supply voltage: 12-24V DCMax load current: 100mAIf you're looking for the datasheet, search for "E3Z-R61"NOTE: you have to use the included reflector, you cannot use any mirrored surface, since the E3Z-R61 series has a built-in "MSR" function.From Omron site:"Question:What is the MSR (Mirror Surface Rejection) function of Retroreflective Photoelectric Sensors?Answer:MSR is a function of Retroreflective Photoelectric Sensors to receive only the light reflected from the Retroreflector by using the characteristics of the polarizing filter built into the Sensor and the characteristics of the Retroreflector.Explanation:1. Light that passes through the polarizing filter at the light emission side becomes horizontal.2. Light will change from horizontal to vertical if it is reflected on the triangular pyramid on the Retroreflector.3.
