I used this 2-3 times a day after washing w/the soap & this was causing it to scab huge sores as it was mixing w/blood & plasma & causing it to be sticky & stick to bedding (big tat on shoulder) & once dried it caused a hard cracked mess that hurt. It was only after 2 weeks of using this that my tattoo artist told me to completely stop using this & let it dry heal (it had not even started healing because of this stuff after 14 days & looked almost infected) it was only after I stopped putting this on it that it started healing quickly. I spent $600 on a tattoo that this stuff probably cost me half that to have fixed. This isn't for everybody. It felt nice & creamy & even felt better once applied (before it gets dry & cracked) & could be good on anything but tats but this was not for me,I wish I wouldn't have bought it for the rave reviews :(

So I finally got my first tat, unless eyebrow microblading counts. I was using Aquaphor, but noticed peeling, roughness, and itching was not going away. Found this Hustle Butter after researching online better options for new ink care. After the first use the itching stopped, the filking stopped, and the skin became smooth again. The ink is holding well and I've been asked if it's fake. Smells amazing too btw, and have been using it on my hands. Will use this butter when I get my eyebrows redone as that gave me some issues the first time around

Great stuff! Got my first tattoo recently, was told to use Aquafor ointment at first, which I did but I HATED it because it was greasy, messy and left stains on my clothes, not to mention was nearly impossible to wash out of my hair where it came in contact with it. I was getting very paranoid about using a petroleum-based product so I quickly researched alternatives and came across Hustle Butter. Wish I knew about it from day one, this stuff is the best. It’s all natural, smells amazing, doesn’t stain. It’s not really greasy but it does have a smooth, thin, somewhat “naturally oily” feel to it, but in a good way. It soaks into your skin and moisturizes well all day. A tiny bit goes a long way, I bought the little 1-ounce jar and am only halfway through it after using 2-3 times daily for over two weeks, on an area about 6”x7”. Planning to buy the 5-ounce jar after this so it should last a good 6 months or more. And it’s cruelty-free, a huge plus in my book! Highly recommended, I wouldn’t use anything else.

I bought 2 of these and that was a big mistake. I bought one for myself and one for my fiancé. 30 minutes after we applied the butter we both broke out in a red rash on exactly the areas we applied it. We immediately washed our tattoos and applied aquaphor...within an hour our tattoos were fine and our skin was back to normal after using the aquaphor. We never touched the hustle butter again. Completely regret purchasing these. We are not ones to have sensitive skin, I’ve never had a reaction to anything.

I like it better than H2o moisture because of the smell and it doesn't have to be reapplied as much. H2o has a great pain relief one that was a huge help getting me through the 1st couple days. However after the initial 48 hrs I was constantly reapplying h2o until my tatt looked like a pile of mush on my back. All the ink from just getting it done with all that h2o cream that didn't absorb... It looked gross. This works better. I know your tattoo person most likely sells the H2o. Do your self a favor ... buy the h2o kit before your tattoo on Amazon it is worth it alone for the sunscreen for the price ect but buying the hustle butter will make your tattoo happy.

I got my first piece done on my right shoulder blade about a week ago. I started using this the second night, as it was really red the first night and I wanted to use aquaphor just because I was nervous. By the second day, this was perfect for me. You only need a little bit for each application, and it goes on so smoothly and feels awesome. By this past Wednesday, it would feel tight right after I washed it in the shower and unbearably itchy too. Applying the hustle butter right after a shower makes a world of a difference; the itchiness goes from a 10 to a 2, and I feel like the peeling has been reduced too. My piece is small enough, so I bought the 1oz jar, but I should've bought the 5oz jar just because the smell is so awesome that I want to use this for my hands once the tat has healed. I recently recommended it to my stepdad, who is in the process of getting a full sleeve and is very irritated by his healing tattoo too. For a funny named product, it does the job well.
