Men's Bahama Vent PFG Boat Shoe

My husband ordered these shoes for work in mid July. He is on and off of a boat and dock and needed something comfortable, durable, and breathable. Within a month of minimal wear, they have completely deteriorated. Highly disappointed and do not recommend.

After one month of wearing only occasionally, the top seam split open. It appears that when sewing the stitches missed the top of shoe at this location. However, after one month it's too late for a refund. See pictures.

Unfortunately, not impressed, and feel like these were a waste of money. We bought these because they were advertised as the type of shoe that could get wet, would dry relatively quickly, be comfortable, and had some level of stain resistance. Oh, and they looked nice, too! We spent quite a bit of time looking up this shoe, reading every description and review, the good and the bad. The good: They look nice, when brand new. The not so good: Can't speak to the speed at which they dried, but he wore these just one afternoon on the boat, and they're basically worthless. We left them on the porch to dry so he could wear them the next day. They were dry, but what you see in the pictures is what they looked like. The canvas was stiff, had water marks, and was discolored along the rivets and seams on the sides. It was like the rivets rusted, and then stained the canvas. The material is now stiff, stained, and no longer a nice looking shoe. We worried that these were a little too good to be true, but that's how they turned out for us. Wouldn't recommend unless you're a boater that doesn't go near water!

They have held up well. I have had for almost two years!! They have been through the washer a few times and come out looking almost new each time. They can stand up to salt water no problem. The cushioned insert is also machine washable and can be easily replaced with one of your choice if it doesn't suit you as it is not glued in place. The soles are just starting to show a little wear and I wear them a lot! I will buy another pair as needed.

Bought these shoes right before going to the beach on vacation. Perfect choice and I wear them regularly outside of just to fish or get wet. I wear a 10.5 and bought them in that size. They are roomy. I have wide feet so I like them but they may feel like they are a touch big to some. They are good quality, super comfortable, and look really nice too. I have always been a running shoe guy with shorts in the summer. These are my new favorite go-to summer shoes.

These things are so light I feel like I should put a lead weight in each one to keep it from floating away. And they are VERY comfortable. I have foot problems and have a very hard time finding shoes that don’t hurt.On the down side, the materials and assembly are about as cheap in appearance as I can imagine. Wearing them twice a week, I doubt they will last a year, while I am used to my shoes (not nearly as comfortable as these) costing about the same lasting around ten or more years.

Got these for my husband for a Fathers Day gift. He has a pair I bought him 6 months ago that he loves and wears daily to work (he changes into boots there) and when he changes out of his work boots. He usually wears a 10.5 but in these an 11 is more comfortable with socks (or without, he does both). I bought his original pair for about $75 at Academy 6 months ago which seemed expensive at the time, but he wears them ALL THE TIME and they’ve held up SO well. They (original pair) are a little dirty but we haven’t washed them (because he wears them daily and won’t give them up), but I’m sure upon washing they will look brand new. Wasn’t sure how he would feel about the bright green on the bottom of these but it’s not as noticeable as it looks in the stock pictures. They’re authentic- we compared them side by side with his other pair. He loves these and I know he will get lots of use out of them, and I paid about $50 instead of the $75 I paid for his other pair, so I would call that a win. Great shoes, super durable, and can be casual or dressy. Definitely will be buying another pair in a different color for his next birthday or just because; these are a great buy.

I purchased my normal shoe size for this which may have led to the issue. Upon getting these shoes and trying them on they fit just right without socks and didn't fit at all with the thinnest sock I could find. The problem I had was that wearing these pool side and when they got wet there is a heat pressed(I'm guessing) tag/label with the shoe size info, normal stuff, that rubbed the top of my foot raw after wearing for about an hour walking around a shopping mall. This was not comfortable at all. I tend to think if they shoes were not wet or I could fit socks while wearing this would not been an issues. Many of the product photos do not show folks wearing socks with this shoe. So either I was not supposed to get these shoes wet or order a size up to wear socks???? Totally confusing for a slide on. Perhaps they shoes should have had better instructions?

I did order size uk16 but I received size uk15. I was thinking is going to be a problem as it was a gift for Christmas and smaller size could be a problem ,plus on the top of the parcel was from Florida so it was complicated situation... i compared with other shoes and OMG, size was even a bit biger than the addidas uk16...happy days.... shoes are lovely,very light and elegant. Arrived around 18 days after I purchased the shoes🙂Good seller...

Great looking shoes but half a size to big

TLDR: Second pair. Comfy, washable, great value, tons of colour options.This is my second pair of Bahama Vent shoes. The first pair were loved and abused. I wore them with the same degree of dedication that a toddler shows to their blanky. I wore them until they fell apart. I ordered a second pair finally to replace them, as my wife was beginning to object being seen in public with me in the originals.The new pair (pictured) are made in China, instead of Vietnam, and seemed slightly narrower. That being said, they offer both a wide and a standard width option. The shoes remain well made, comfortable, stylish, breathable, and my favourite comfy shoes. The outsole has better traction than some of my runners, moccasin stitch toe box is forgiving and comfortable, the insoles are removable with ease if you have any orthotics, or custom insoles, and they are washable.The price point is fair for the shoe. You may get a steal, if you fall into one of the less popular sizes/colours, in which case: Bully for you! I paid a fair price, but have seen them advertised for much less (at the less popular sizes).I have bought twice, and may buy again! Great shoe!!!

Excelentes Calzado!! Muy cómodos y prácticos ideal para flojear, yo nos los uso para pescar si no para días que no quiero ponerme zapatos ni tampoco chanclas. Caros pero muy recomendables, es mi segundo par de este modelo.

My husband bought these when we were in Canada a couple of years ago and wore them to death. He absolutely loved them and they were extremely comfortable for him. He wears them as a casual dress shoe and they always look great. I had trouble finding them until I happened upon them on amazon. Luckily they would send to Australia which Columbia would not do because I had previously asked if they would. Very happy with the product and the art ice from amazon.
