Melts ice well.
Used this with our recent ice then snow . Putting it on ice even when it's below freezing, began melting the ice right away, and as long as the sun was out , the melted ice /water evaporated or dried. Heavier areas with snow it didn't do as much, but then it's ice melter, not snow remover.After shoveling the snow, I put this on the remaining ice that was stuck on the driveway, and it melted that well.This product seems to just disappear when it's used . No residue to track in the house, it's just gone. I like that.I guess if you have thicker ice, you can use more, or reapply. My experience was positive. Didn't seem to harm my concrete in any way either. Hope that stays true.

Great containers just wish was easier to open but whatever. Material is good and doesn’t mess with my new concrete or my dogs.

Effective Ice Melt
Using a hand spreader it was enough to distribute on the ice and after 5-10 minutes it was doing its job.While the 4 oz scoop inside the bucket works, the size makes the scoop nearly useless because it took 20 scoops to fill the hand spreader with about 5lbs of ice melt. I think they should double the length (width was fine) of it to make it useful.It comes packaged in a pail and the lid is nearly impossible to get off. No way to remove the lid with just your hands, you will need a sturdy screwdriver to break the seal. It did make sure the contents wasn’t exposed to moisture, so I suppose it did its job, but this pail isn’t for people that have strength issues.

Ice melt
This product’s effectiveness is great! We recently had weather come though that left a sheet of ice over everything. I spread this product over my driveway and sidewalk and the speed of which is worked was a great surprise to me. They size of the bucket isn’t to bad but can be heavy to some. As a pet owner as well, I was worried about being in chemicals they would be harmful as they are mainly indoor cats. I have not had any issues and will be purchasing this product again.
