How to describe? This is the happiest revenge flick in the world. If you're not familiar with Bollywood movies, you might not like it. It is cheesy, the English subtitles were done horribly, the English parts of the music were horrible yet up-beat enough to still keep a Bollywood feel to it (the attempt at hip-hop club culture made me laugh). And it was lip syncing, so that didn't help. Also, as you probably know from previous Bollywood films if you've seen them, the music seems more like an interruption than an integration to the movie's plot. Also, for some reason they just like throwing in random English from time to time.Even with all of the silliness (and there is a ton of it) it was STILL enjoyable. That is quite a feat.Don't go in expecting a realistic movie at all, and do expect random plot elements thrown in that make you go "Huh? What da? I can't even..." and you'll probably like the movie.If you're looking for realism and seriousness and great music and perfect translations, do not watch. Just a warning up front.But if you can look past all of that and just want a cute, time-wasting movie, I think it is worth it.

Light hearted and goofy. I was almost embarrassed to watch it on my kindle during a flight. It's basically a light hearted love story with awful musical and dance sequences thrown in.
