Nice to have new options for a baby tortoise. New product and it’s worth it!
I researched some food options for baby tortoises and this product came up as “new”. I figured I’d give this product a shot because the market is limited. This product seems to be pretty decent for my little one however I took a whiff of the stuff and it’s not really pleasant to smell but meh whatever my tortoise seems to nibble at it. I only provide a pinch. I’ve noticed that she wouldn’t eat it while it’s fresh out of the jar. She would graze on it after it dries out. Go figure? Lol I have sprinkled some calcium powder on the stuff and veggies because that’s what you’re supposed to be doing while they are still juveniles. I’m hopeful that they’ll be more products for exotic animals like this in the further.

BabyBite Tortoise Food
I have a baby Red Foot Tortoise and He loves BabyBite Tortoise Food. I sometimes break up natural peaches, strawberries, blueberries and romaine lettuce and add it to the BabyBites so he does not get board with his food for him and he really enjoys it. Until he gets bigger I also add calcium for his diet. He is growing just fine in the nice terrarium that we built for him and the humidifier that we bought for him. I have one happy Tortoise.

Box Turtle Wouldn't Touch It
My turtle (about 13 years old) would not have anything to do with it. I tried to feed it to her a few times and they all had the same results

already opened and unsealed
I received my baby torts food today, it was not in a box, like it shows in the pic. The lid was very loose about to fall off, and there was no seal at all!!! it looked like it was half gone already, there is no way i would ever feed my baby sulcata tort this gross looking mess, it smells like its rotten, who knows what has happened to this crap before it got to me, way too expensive, save your money its def not worth it. i would have given it 0 stars if that was a option.

I haven't been able to get the turtles to eat this yet
The Baby Bites food is conveniently shredded and has a pleasant scent. This being said, my little turtles have shown no interest in it. I may need to place some meal worms on it. Maybe the worm movement will trick them into taking a bite.

something new takes a while for them to adjust to. It smells great stays in small pieces, I like that. Hopefully he will come around! Nice to have as a back up to fresh foods.
