bought two of these and neither worked (vibrated the striker but did not produce enough bell sound for inspector. Had to get a 120 V fire alarm bell. I bought the second one thinking maybe the first was just defective, but it appears to be systemic.

This bell is junk, it barely rings. The gong just vibrates a little. I can't believe they sell them like this. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand. I bought two and they're both non-functional.

Should have done more reshearch ..... totally opposite of what I needed .... it happens !!

They are 12v. We found out they are marked wrong. Cost me a lot of money in electricians.
