I have multiple fractures of my heel bone and tibia. I finally said goodbye to the fiberglass casts and was moved to a removable boot. (Meaning no more bathing with only a damp towel!) This mat allows me to more comfortably and safely crawl into the shower and bathe on my knees. The thickness not only supplies a cushion. Compared to other mats, it also adds stability in my square shower stall. If it does move, the shower wall holds it in place better. The other mat I tried was so thin, it simply slipped and bunched up. I'm not sure how stable this mat would be in my stall if I were standing, but for this stage of my injury where I can't stand, it feels quite safe compared to one of those other mats. Of note too: It does allow good drainage while showering and also.... It is easy afterward to flip it up so it and the shower floor can dry. I only have a couple issues. I wish it was a solid piece, which I think would add even more stability and longevity. I also wish it was a little bigger, so it had less gap around it in my stall. In shopping around though, it seems 27" square is the common "Large" size. Update - I should have made this update earlier. When my injury improved and I could stand again in the shower, this matt was fantastic. It was night and day compared to no matt, as well as the other matt I tried. It has great traction on my feet. It's padding feels great and also insulates from cold tiles in the winter.

REALLY comfy and THICK. Easy to powerwash or simply use Chlorox with bleach underneath every few months for a good scrub. Since I have a chair atop it, I can't lift it daily to let it drain. My first set lasted about 5 years. Just bought a 2nd set. I have diabetes and my feet need some care. This works great in my big shower's uneven stone floor. I have never slipped or slid on it. So.....it's great for seniors and I suppose, at 69, I'm getting there!

This shower mat is the most comfortable one I've ever used. It is so soft and spongy under my tender feet, I just wish I had shoes so comfortable! I have had no trouble with slipping even 'though I did not apply the stickies. I like to stand it on its side to dry and this would not be possible if I had applied the stickies. I like the fact that it disassembles, so I can pack it and take it with me when I travel and always have my comfortable mat with me. I purchased this mat in March, but I wanted to wait until I had used it for quite a while before writing a full review. Six month of use and I am still extremely happy with its comfort and cleanliness. It looks and performs as well as the first day I got it!

It's a good size, and is genuinely nice to stand on, much nicer than the fuzzy fabric-y ones, and seems more hygienic than those. Using it on a tiled floor, the underside doesn't create enough clearance for stall water to drain quickly, but it does finally drain. It doesn't fell unsafe at all, but it does want to move around a little as you move, so the included adhesive strips would be necessary to stop that.

I have nerve damage from several ankle surgeries that make it difficult to stand in the shower. This shower mat is the best thing I’ve found to make standing in the shower more comfortable. It comes in four pieces that fit together. The foam is thick enough without losing support. After the shower, I just rinse it off and stand it up to dry.

I wanted something that didn’t have suctions cups on the bottom, and this is perfect. It’s very comfortable to stand on.

Wow. I soooooo love this shower pad! I've had 2 foot surgeries so my feet are very angry. They tire easily and when they ache-watch out! There's been many times when I need a shower, but the idea of standing even more when my feet are already killing me? Yah that's a no. This is a shower game changer for me! So nice on the feet! I could actually stand there long enough to have a long hot shower! I just lean it up against the wall after I'm done. I did add the stickies (that I painstakingly placed evenly and straight- but somehow turned into an OCD nightmare), but they'll be hidden when the pad is down. No smell, measure first but it's a lifesaver for me! Shoulda bought this 3 years ago!

This is a good non slip shower mat which is comfortable to use.

I have inflammatory arthritis so I get bad plantar fasciitis and showering has been especially painful for months. This has helped so much and I no longer worry about showering any more. It claims it isn’t a replacement for a replacement for a non-slip mat but I find it doesn’t slip at all and works really well. Some have said it isn’t cushioned enough but I find it’s just right and helps so much. If you have foot pain and want to shower in more comfort then I highly recommend this. My only regret is that I didn’t buy it months ago.

I never write reviews for anything, but this thing is awesome! I have plantar fasciitis on my foot and showerinng has been really painful lately. I just tried it out since I received it today and wow. I tried it without the anti slip strips and it did not move in my shower. It also did not affect the drainage of the water. I cannot comment of how cleanable it is since I’ve only used it once.

I finally enjoy showers 🚿 now that my heel isn't painful on a hard surface...THANK YOU!!!

Soo soft and comfortable, durable material. Definitely would reccomend.
