Quality purchase!
This is an EXCELLENT purchase! Fantastic quality! Makes my iPad feel just like a small computer! I use the iPad much more now that I have a real keyboard . I only have one wish, I would’ve loved if it had a touch pad 🤣 it’s not really needed but I find myself looking for it to place my curser out of habit. This thing is solid well built long battery, lighted color change keyboard . Screen swivels one of my best purchases in all of 2025! Don’t hesitate! It’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

QUALITY PRODUCT - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
PACKAGING ✅ QUALITY ✅ CUSTOMER SERVICE ✅ VALUE FOR THE MONEY ✅ I initially had trouble with the space bar not working properly - which was the case with my old keyboard and with so many reviews I read - so I decided instead of returning it I would contact the seller to see if it was a faulty product or if something just needed tweaked. CS quickly responded and gave instructions as to how to recalibrate the keyboard and that fixed the issue. I am glad I reached out instead of sending it back only to receive another with the same issue. I would recommend YEKBEE include the instructions for recalibrating in the packaging as well as in product images.

This case is so A+, 100%, my Mom is getting one!!! in Seafoam I think!?!?
So I love this set-up way more than I loved my other folio-style. This case will “hold it’s shape/position” 100% better than the folio style. The other style was constantly slipping/falling from the viewing/typing angle I had it set to. Even with the slightest provocation. This one stays where it’s set!! The hinge is stiff/strong enough that it makes me nervous folding it from the flat position!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the different positions that this case operates at; laptop-style, tablet, tent, are the main ones I use. I also utilize the spin/screen-share feature way more than I thought I would! The keyboard is fantastic!! There is a slight delay from the time you tap any key (to wake it up) til the letters you are typing actually show up in the text. Sometimes it starts mid-word, if you’re a fast typer. I’m sure this ‘dormant-mode’ is a battery saving feature and it only happens when you haven’t been using the keyboard for a bit and then it’s only the first word that gets jacked up. The keyboard is laid out very well for me. My son has a similar style case and the ‘shift’ key & ‘pgup’ key are Right Next To Each Other. I frequently and randomly hit the wrong key, sending my cursor flying!! Super frustrating and Super Inconvenient. But not this one!!! I love it!! Keys are well placed and well spaced to accommodate my little kitten mittens!! The light-up feature is nice, but aside from just playing with it, I really haven’t had a reason/need to use it yet, so I cannot comment on the battery life with steady/continued use of the keyboard lights. The battery life without lights is very satisfactory! I have yet to even come close to running the darn thing down!! The function keys across the top: they mostly work 90%. Volume up/down is super consistent across all platforms. Pause/play, FF/RW Sometimes don’t work, but I suspect that has something to do with the application I’m trying to run with those buttons, ie a video embedded in a webpage does not alway do as the buttons command. Amazon videos, Netflix, etc... I have no trouble with. I don’t play/stream a lot of music through this device to know for sure about the compatibility of the buttons with Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music, etc. And lastly, the color is just gorgeous!!! (I got the light purple one.). My previous case was a navy blue that was very pretty, but every time I set it down on a dark surface, I lost the darn thing!! Dark counter top, dark weight bench, dark sofa... poof! It would just blend in and disappear! Well not this one!!!! I hope this helps!

Sea foam green iPad keyboard case
4 Stars. Overall this works pretty well. The blue tooth connection is spotty at times, but when it works, it works very well. The color matches the web site. The pen holder is too wide for the apple pen and it slips out, so that is a down side. If you want a snug fit for another type of pen, then one that has a hook on the pen (to clip onto the holder as if you were to secure it to some pages in a book) then that might work to secure the pen to the holder. The swivel mechanism works well. I can make the iPad flat, rotate it 360 degrees and it secures the iPad well without obscuring the buttons or charging port. The one thing that needs improvement is the counter weight around the keyboard. When tilting the screen back to more than about 135 degrees, the case falls over. I like that the bottom of the case has rubber foot pads, because they keep the case from sliding. Very cool backlighting colors, easy to understand directions and very nicely packaged/presented. It came in a nice box, well padded and encased in plastic wrap, so I like that it was brand new and unopened. Very professional and outstanding graphics for the instructions. Improving the counter weight issue would make this product 5 starts. I would recommend it though. I bought it to replace my apple keyboard, which quit working after three years.

It's almost perfect
So here's almost just what I wanted. It's almost perfect. It turns the ipad into a netbook. Hard case + keyboard = awesome. I love it. I highly recommend it. I will be showing it to my friends and guarantee I will absolutely drive future sales as I think this thing rocks. I do have some feature suggestions. I could care less about the pencil holder thing. It's clearly modelled after the MS Surface tablet as the stylus loop is pretty much exactly what my surface tablet has for its stylus that I never use. Meh. Big meh. I'm tempted to cut it off. Wish like on the surface you could have the option of sticking it on either side. The Surface stylus loop is a sticker, put it where you want. It makes NO sense for the pencil holder to be on the bottom instead of the top in portrait/tablet mode. Kinda dumb. Even in clamshell mode it is on the left when most people are right handed. Little product design advice. Next advice: This hinge is clearly modelled after the Lenovo Twist laptop, which I had. Now my daughter has. The hinge works the same way. This is super cool and I love it as it was one of my favorite laptops. Here's the hinge issue though. It can't fold all the way around to the other side. That would be super cool. Just needs a double cardan type hinge so it can fold on a second hinge and get the full flip under. Next product feature request/suggestion: It needs a touchpad so it feels more like a laptop. A small one would be fine, certainly enough room for one. It should also suggest turning on the advanced keyboard navigation features in the instructions because that option makes this keyboard even way cooler. Okay, that was two. Next feature request is to make this thing work more like the ASUS transformer, which it obviously also gets its design ideas from. The tablet/netbook design rocked. The transformer was a tablet with 8 hours of battery that clipped onto the keyboard dock... which had its own battery that could charge and prolong the life of the tablet for another 8 hours for a total of 16 hours of battery. Surely, you could come up with a wireless or wired charging design. This would fix another issue... The keyboard is too light. If it had the battery bank in it, it would increase keyboard weight so the thing doesn't fall over backwards when you tilt the screen too far back. Is USB-C too much to ask for? Seriously? Using micro-USB is so 10-20 years ago. Again, back to the battery bank idea, plugging in the keyboard to charge both keyboard battery bank and tablet is just a good design idea for the next gen product. If there was even a thin covering of a neoprene like rubber in the case to help absorb shock from drops, that would rock. And if the tablet could mount in either way left or right (for the lefties, not that I'm one of those weirdos :D) that would just be a solid design idea. I mean, what would it take, cut some more holes? Whoever designed this made the coolest ipad keyboard case I have seen so far. I love it. All the above isn't criticism in the slightest. Just suggestions. If you're reading this as a customer, just buy it. You'll love it. Those floppy soft keyboard cases suck. Can't use them on your lap without a lapdesk. This case makes it a mini laptop running iOS (sadly). It's dope. Pull the trigger and get it, people. Okay, suggestions out of the way. They keyboard, while a little small, is excellent to type on, and I am a larger dude with big clumsy fingers, yet I can touch-type on it great. It's quite good. The "Twist" mode stuff is exceptional, the hinge feels sturdy, the material is solid. It seems to have amazing battery life. It's almost exactly what I wanted. It fits the bill quite nicely. I got one for my son and after playing with it for an hour I knew I needed one for my ipad. I love it. Buy it.

Still working great after being run over lol
I bought this case over 4 years ago. Recently I had my iPad propped up in a parking lot recording a cheer routine and a police car ran over it. IT STILL WORKS!!! It didn’t break. It didn’t crack. My iPad OR the keyboard! Battery life lasts forever! 10/10 would purchase again!

Still love it a few years later
I have had this for almost three years and love the case, keyboard, and backlit keys. No complaints!

CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS IPAD KEYBOARD, IT DOESN'T LAST
I have purchased 3 Yekbee / Typepad keyboard cases for my iPads; one of them has a Trackpad / Touchpad. For several months they worked great. But I have since had some problems. The first disappointment is that the battery life (of a week or two) is very limiting and inconvenient. The keyboard key quality is ok. I can't touch type as fast on the keyboard as I can with a real keyboard, but I knew there would be some compromise for this price and small size. But the Logitech combo touch that I replaced this this has a far superior keyboard. A good trait of this case is that the hinge is strong and holds the iPad up well and seems to stands up to daily use. (But I only got to use it for less than 6 months) When the case is on a soft surface, or your lap, it will want to tip away from you. So you have to be careful how much you let it tip.... so be careful about taking your hands off of it when it’s prone to tipping. The case holds the iPad very tightly. Day to day this is excellent, because it means it keeps holding the iPad no matter what. I think it could hold up to a drop onto wood floor and protect the iPad decently. Definitely should be fine on carpet. But I haven't had any of mine drop to the floor, so I don't have actual experience with this aspect. The drawback to the iPad being held so tightly is that it's difficult to get the iPad out. So if you're someone who might have a need to take their iPad out of its case on the regular, this isn't the keyboard case for you. I have never taken the time to find out if there's a way to permanently stop the keyboard lights from color cycling. By default it puts on a light show and it's distracting and frustrating. I have to press the color button all the darn time to stop this annoyance. The Typepad case with the touchpad was the first to develop a problem. It kept triggering keys that I was not pressing. I made sure it was charged and I re-paired the Bluetooth connection to the iPad (removed it from the Bluetooth pairing list and then paired it again). I don't have time to deal with this. So I put it away and switched back to a Yekbee without the touchpad. This other case had sat unused for maybe 2 months and it would seem that it can't tolerate that. Because it won't hold a charge and only operates for a few seconds at a time. (If I keep typing, pretending that I dont' know that it's not working, it will type about half the words that I actually type on the keyboard.) This is ridiculous quality in both of these instances. I am writing this review December 2020. The one without touchpad was purchased March 2020. The touchpad one was purchased June 2020. The third Yekbee that I have was purchased May 2020 and is still working properly, thankfully. But having problems with 2 out of 3 of their products in about a 6-9 month span is not encouraging. For these reasons I can't recommend Yekbee / Typepad keyboard cases.
