Accurate, high-end (mostly) feel, 100% functionality. Measures both inside and outside dimensions.
This is a one of those items you find a need for and don't know what to really trust. Junk rules supreme across the 'zon scape. Worry not. I was once in your shoes. This device is solid, feels really machined (doubt it it is but it has a solid heft and feel. I can always measure a cheap display from a good one by tapping it. Hollow sound, not so good. This one: solid. The measurements are accurate and you can switch between units easily. You also have a stop functionality for presets. Fantastic unit for the price. Highlyy recommend. Going to get a lot of use out of this.

Good tool and not expensive
I h ave been pretty pleased with these. I have not attempted to check the accuracy, maybe I should. But they are easy to use, easy to zero and easy to move through the menu for different measurement units. Thanks goodness for the auto off. That helps with the battery life and I almost always forget to turn them off myself. The quality of the materials are pretty good. They feel solid endnote "cheap" The display is good sized and clear/clean. It is easy to read, and sharp details. Good value for the money. I am pleased with the purchase. I would r recommend and would also purchase again if needed.

Great tool
Love this caliper. Very accurate and easy to use. Made of aluminum so very tough. It has taken a beating on my bench and has hit the floor a few times, but it just like new. Would buy again

I think It's a good caliper although I have not had it for long
The display was already on when I opened the box but the power button has a definite 'click' to it so did I get a used one? It certainly doesn't look like it's been used and came with the manual, two cr2032 batteries and the screwdriver to replace the batteries with. First impression is that it's a bit heavier than my other caliper (202g vs 154g). It was displaying negative numbers instead of positive and the only to reset it was the take the battery out for a few seconds to 'reset' it. I like the fact that this takes cr2032 batteries instead of the less common lr44 in my other digital caliper. Be careful though, it's sharp! I was holding it too close to my face trying to measure something in the light and almost took my eye out. It's about 0.04 mm off from my other digital caliper but I'm not sure which one is more accurate... I purchased this one because my Neiko caliper kept resetting and displaying wildly inaccurate numbers if I went passed a few inches & because it uses a more common battery.

Higher value than Pittsburg calipers
I’m sure like many purchasing calipers in this price range, I don’t use them often and don’t have a need for 100% accuracy. If they measure reliably and continue to work the next time I need them, that is all I really need. Previously I have purchased multiple Harbor Freight Pittsburg brand calipers which met my needs during initial uses but tended to stop working for unknown reasons when I went to use them 4 months later. The last set of Pittsburg calipers I had, I stored inside a range bag which got wet from minor rain on the outside of my range bag and that slight moisture which minorly transferred to inside the bag stopped them from working. I got these Kynup calipers due to the IP57 rating. My initial impression is they are a much higher build quality than the Pittsburg Calipers with more features, smoother operation and a stronger storage case, all at the same price. If they last due to being moisture resistant unlike the Pittsburgs, I will be thrilled and will update my review and purchase more of these Kynup brand.

Incredible
My one complaint is that the storage box that comes with these calipers is truly terrible - it's made of super cheap plastic, and one of the latches completely broke after only being used about 10 times. But with that out of the way, these calipers are phenomenal, especially for the price. They open/close super smoothly, they come with not one but TWO extra batteries (and just the fact that they run on CR32 rather than watch batteries is a huge plus), they feel premium and durable without being uncomfortably heavy, and of course they work exactly as intended. I did a few tests to confirm their accuracy, and they passed with flying colors every time. These are really great budget-friendly calipers. Are they as good as the $400 Mitutoyo ones? Of course not. But if you're just looking for calipers for everyday use/hobbies (measuring things around the house, 3D printing, etc), these will get the job done effectively, and for only twenty bucks.

Great digital caliper
This thing is heavy! Ours arrived with one button battery in place and two (2) spares! It seems to turn on as soon as you slide the display housing, a convenient feature but which may suggest why you need the spare batteries. I like that the reverse side has two legible thread charts for converting ISO to Imperial. It displays fractional inches! I cannot attest to its precision but it's good enough for my projects. It comes with a nice case and mini Phillips driver to remove the battery cover screws. Other reviewers suggest short battery life and erratic display behaviors. I haven't had it long enough to experience these but will be on the alert.

Great value
Hard to beat the price for something that functions this well. Well built and hold up well. All metal even the battery case.

Upgraded from my old reliable analogue Vernier caliper scale as finding it harder to read as I get older. Can now get readings down to .01mm accuracy without eyestrain. Nice clear display readout, Auto off display to save battery. Seems well made and comes with spare batteries. Only negative so far is the Hard plastic case has no shaped foam insert to protect the device from rattling about inside

The battery contacts of my previous (6", run-of-the-mill, black plastic, red-green-blue buttons, LR44 battery) digital calipers were heavily corroded which made them work erratically. This breaks the entire tool, as the analog scale of these digital calipers is unusable. So I set out for a new pair of calipers. My use is in electronics and PCB design, to measure component pitch, PCB sizes and the like. So no need for high, multi-decimal precision, but a mm / inch conversion is nice to have. And 200mm / 8" comes in handy every now and then when measuring larger enclosures. Initially I was looking for a pair of calipers from an 'A' brand, but for my use their prices, especially for the 200mm ones with some IP protection, were just too high. So I searched some more and stumbled on these Kynup calipers. It promises IP54, which made me think the battery terminals might fare better than these in my previous pair. It shows mm and inches, and fractions as well. And it is 200mm / 8" long. In short, it ticked all my boxes for €40.-, so I ordered a pair. Amazon got them to me in 2 days and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. Apart from looking and performing exactly as advertised they also have some extra features I like: - They are completely made out of metal. Buttons, battery door, everything but the display window. - The battery door has an o-ring for protection against fluids. - They have auto-off. That feature will save me a lot of batteries. - Even more nice, they have auto-on. Just move the jaw to measure something will switch them on. - They run on CR2032, which I have more of lying around than the smaller batteries used in other offerings. I read some reviews where people complained that the decimals are smaller which makes them harder to read; that is indeed the case, on the other hand the fact that these decimals are separated by their size makes measurements easier to interpret, at least for me. The tool is a little 'coarse' to the feel; corners and sides are a bit sharper than with my 'A' brand non-digital calipers. This however is no big deal. You ain't going to cut yourselves on them :-) All in all I find them a lot better than the non 'A' brand digital calipers they replaced and at less then half the money. Obviously I cannot say anything yet about battery life or the tool's longevity, but if the electronics do not fail I have good hopes these calipers will last into my retirement.

I like this 150mm (6") stainless steel Kynup Digital Caliper. Perfect length for 95% of my needs. The fraction option is a nice touch. It is well built and has a nice weight to it. The slider wheel works well and the main part has ridges in all the right places in order to move it back and forth with ease. I did my research and this caliper was the best price and quality for my buck. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it. I paid $29.74 id Nov 2025. Cheers Gary
