My son is 10 and this is beyond useful to communicate and explain a lot of those new emotions and thoughts!

Bought this for my daughter after she felt stressed at school. She loves it!

My 7yo 2nd grader is enjoying this book. She reads it nightly. The chapters/stories are short, about 2-3 pages, so it is easy to read a bit daily. The stories I have read in the book seem age appropriate and light, not too stimulating at bedtime. I can easily recommend this for any grade schooler who enjoys reading.

Such a great book for children!

I grew up reading chicken soup for the soul and now my 8 & 10 year old daughters love these books as they all seem to have a moral or lesson at the end of each short story. Great for kids who don't have the patience to sit and read long chapter books, helps them to find a love for reading. Thanks to these, my 8 yr old has finally moved onto longer chapter books. I agree with another reviewer that the stories could have been a little more inspiring, but they're made for kids, and though they might fall a little short for us, they really enjoy them,

I read Chicken Soup books as a kid and teen, loved them and I remembered that while the stories were interesting, many of them have monumental lessons in them about honesty, integrity, love and family. I decided to purchase this for my 9 year old and he loved it, he finished reading it rather quickly. It became a conversation starter for our family as well, he would be so excited to tell my husband and I about the stories and it would lead to some pretty insightful conversations. Purchasing another version for him, at his request.

Great book for my grand daughter. She couldn't put it down.

My kids love to read the historíes of this book in family time or by themselves.
