This medium-sized cutting board was exactly what I was looking for…not too big, not too small and very fine quality. My one problem was that it was damaged en route because it was not bubble wrapped or boxed when sent to me. I got a sliver in my finger (ouch!) when I set it on the counter still in its thin film wrapper. In the meantime, my son bought me a different bamboo one for Christmas with one added feature, nonskid corner pads. Because I really needed a cutting board, I kept the one from him and sent the damaged one back. Otherwise, I would have kept it! Packaging matters!

This appears to be a high quality bamboo cutting board. I am quite please with the weight and heftiness of the board. The workmanship looks great and the ridge around the edge is a good size. My only wish was it had rubber feet to keep it in place on the counter. (But I think I can resolve that with a rubber mat.)

This board is study and attractive. There was an option to buy a used board so I figured, why not? Somebody probably returned it and the packaging may not be new but I am all for saving the environment and not needing something brand new. That was a misassumption on my part. There was a deep scratch in the board and dark marks the shape of wide tape. It was not sticky but quite discolored. There was no odor. Had my husband not been able to sand and remove these defects I would have sent it back. I now have a beautiful new, smooth board that has been oiled and serves the function for which I purchased it.

The extra large is the perfect size for all purpose everyday usage. After reading an article about how micro plastics get into our food by using those plastic cutting boards and doing some research, this was the best one I could find. It is finished well and is very sturdy. Make sure to keep it oiled and don't wash in the dishwasher.

I haven't used the board yet however I wanted to comment on the delivery as there was a little scratch on 2 of the sides of the board. It did travel from US so it's not unexpected but disappointing none the less. I will provide an update once it has been used for a while..Update: After having used it for a couple of months, I still consider it a good purchase however it definitely moves around too much, I've had to order an anti-slip mat to keep it in place and the juice groove hasn't proven all that useful.

A light and good quality chopping board for BBQ! We only used twice but it seems to have good durability!

After learning that some bamboo cutting boards are not toxin free l found this one that is! I would have given it one more star if the price was a little lower but prices will probably reduce as more buyers realize that toxic cookware is unacceptable.

Looks like it will last a long time. I've had problems with other wooden boards in Singapore as they dry out and tend to split. This board looks a lot more durable and the oil treatment is a must
