At what rate of charge ( how many amps ) does it charge at on "12 volt low" position ?

The actual amperage output will depend on the battery's size and state of charge. This is NOT an "automatic" or voltage regulated charger. As the battery charges, the amperage output will fall and the voltage will rise. I don't believe there is a max amperage spec for the output on the 12V low setting. Our observation is that it is in the 20-30 amp range. You would see this when charging a full size automotive battery that is badly discharged, or under load.

How long are the cables ??

Their website says 7.5 feet and that sounds about what ours would be, Usually place charger up on unit we are working on as cables are a bit short to boost from the ground. Very happy with this high quality unit.

A 6010b is a 6/12/24 v charger. this ad pictures a 6010a. description states this is a 6/12 v charger. please clarify what model is for sale?

The picture in the ad is incorrect. The model being sold as is the 6010B. And is also a 6/12/24 V charger.
