I love the convenience of this instant coffee. I have to go to work really early in the morning, and as a natural night owl, mornings are hard for me. I often don't have time to make coffee or pick up coffee on my way in, but I do have access to hot water once I'm at work. The 300 mg of caffeine in this coffee is definitely not for the faint of heart. If you're sensitive to caffeine, I would probably recommend looking into a different instant coffee. I'm sure it could easily make a normal person jittery and anxious. However, as a person with untreated ADHD, I find this cup of coffee gives me the nicest calm I can ever expect in the morning. I'm awake, not grumpy, and chill. It's a wonderful way to start my day. The flavor is definitely strong and a bit bitter, but with enough creamer, it is more than palatable. I don't find I have to force this down like I've had to with other coffees in the past. It is definitely a dark roast coffee, but I find it to be smoother than other dark roast coffees I've had before. Overall, I'm grateful I discovered this coffee and find it to be a lifesaver for me at work. I know some people think it's expensive, but for less than $1.50 a cup, it's the going rate for Nespresso Vertuo pods, and far less expensive than going to Starbucks or Dunkin's.

Perfect for mornings in the RV or when you need a strong kick without brewing a whole pot. If you like dark, intense coffee, this is the one.

Best instant coffee out there and excellent if you need an extra caffeine boost! The flavor tastes fresh brewed. I've purchased this coffee many times.

Dissolves very well even in cold milk and has a smooth taste. Seems just as strong as their regular coffee, but built for travel!

These packets of Death Wish instant coffee are strong. Make no mistake about it – these will get you going in the morning. I only need one cup and I’m good for the rest of the day. I’m not crazy about the taste because it is, understandably, quite strong and even after adding a little sugar and creamer, it’s still bitter, in my opinion. I know many find the taste to be smooth and satisfying, but I’m not a coffee connoisseur and I’ve never been crazy about the taste of coffee, in general. I’m just someone that finds high caffeinated coffee a good and more natural solution when I need a quick pick-me-up versus a Red Bull or Monster energy drink. I used to purchase these in my local Wallymart, but they don’t stock them anymore, so I was happy to find them on Amazon and they arrived on time and appropriately packaged. I don’t drink this on a daily basis because I need to watch my blood pressure and I don’t want my body to develop a tolerance, but when I’m really dragging, this does the trick. I also love this for the convenience of the instant packets. You can literally take these anywhere, so they’re prefect for traveling. I recently took a trip to South Korea and the jet lag after a 15-hour flight was brutal. These were just what I needed to get acclimated to the time change. I’m definitely a repeat customer.

I have been drinking this stuff for a long time, but my latest delivery made me realize that I should finally submit a review. It has always felt slightly overpriced, but I appreciate the solid caffeine level, the fact that it is organic (especially since I drink it every day), and of course the speed and convenience of that first cup. Over time, though, I have really noticed how much the quality and flavor can vary. I am currently working through a batch of eight boxes, and every single packet has tasted extremely burnt, whether hot or cold. This is not the first time it has happened either. I am not going to waste them, but even though I am normally a black coffee drinker, I have had to cut these awful tasting packets with milk and sweetener just to get through them. My advice for the company, if they want to level up, would be to focus on consistency and maybe add two more packets to each box to make it feel like a better value. There are times when I order it and it is truly so good, so I do not know what is going on over there. And yes, I checked the best by date, and it was all well within the normal range. I just finished another awful cup, and I have to say my three stars are fairly generous. Anyway, I know they can make it correctly, because I have had it before. And the inconsistency is not something new, because they were uneven even early on. When this batch is finally gone, I may try something else. I just wish I could lock down a supply from the times when Deathwish gets it right, because I would not even think of switching if I could.

I don’t know how people say this coffee is strong. It didn’t do nothing for me plus the taste was terrible. I would say the price and the quality were not comparable.
