Great translucent filament.
I wanted some cheap filament to make some stands. I've never used translucent filament before so I thought I'd give this 4 pack a try. After drying it for 12 hours it prints very easily at standard petg settings on my P1S. I've only so far used the coloured rolls for structural prints but the quality has been great and the parts are more than strong enough for their use case. I can also see this filament being excellent for making lamps, which is what I plan to do next when my current project is complete.

No issues with this using Bambu P1S - please ensure it is dired before using
Firstly, excellent value for money for 4 x rolls of PETG. The colours are vibrant and they work very well in an AMS unit. The rolls are not knotted and are well packaged. I have not had any breakages in the filament that would spoil a print and get lost in PTFE tubing. Like all PETG, it does benefit from being dried out upon arrival and I find these work well once the humidity is ~20% or less. Using standard settings I get good quality, consistent prints. I'm now using this brand over all others as it seems to perform just as well and other more expensive brands.

Best PETG I've used
After buying the first real of this, I bought several more in different colours. Why? I weighed the first real before and after drying, there was no difference in weight indicating that the filament was already well dried. Good start. I did a few test prints and found that the stringing was well controlled for PETG with only minor 'cob webs', which were easily removed with my hot air gun. Nice. The reals are neatly wound and the holes allow you to see how much is remaining. The reals also come in a resealable bag. Bonus. Layer bonding is good and I'm able to print at my printer's highest speed with excellent results. The price of this filament is a steal for the quality. I started out my printing hobby with Sunlu and I've tried quite a few others over the years but Sunlu remains top of my price performance list.

Needs the right settings
Slicer settings, when you get them right this PETG filament prints ok. Get them wrong, say like normal PLA and it wont stick to the bed, will string and blob. I suggest 240C and a heated print bed of 70C, slow down the print speed, turn off the cooling fan, the travel speed should be max however and turn off retractions but experiment with this. PETG is as strong as PLA but the clear one wont be totally transparent, more cloudy like a net curtain and you can see the layer lines. In theory the filament is food safe so you can make interesting mugs (for cold drinks) and vases for plants, just be careful to not have any unintentional holes.

Consistent, quality, good colours, easy printing.
Never have a problem with Sunlu filaments, I’ve switched almost exclusively to PETG now. Rolls always seem to be spot on diameter, stick VERY well to the sheet until cooled and colour across different rolls of the same colour shows no differences. Prints are stronger than PLA for what I use them and I’d 100% recommend them! (I also ALWAYS drop a new roll in a Sunlu filament dryer for a day - and likewise when I change from one colour to another)

Really solid value and my go-to brand now.
SUNLU PETG has been great - prints smoothly with no fuss, and the colours are accurate and consistent. It sticks well, doesn’t warp, and gives great results every time. Really solid value and my go-to brand now.

Not great, low colour
Quality is ok but colour is much shallower and not as saturated. Wouldnt buy again.

Good value for money, dry it first.
I'm currently doing a project that needs over a kilo of filament, equally need to run 2 printers at once to do it, in the time I had. I only had 1 roll of Ziro brand filament in and needed more quick, so decided to take a gamble, knowing sunlu is a recognised brand. Step one is to dry the filament, the stuff comes sealed but extra drying is better. 240c nozzle and 80c bed temperatures seemed to work well with a stock profile on prusaslicer and my ender3. Stick it on your printer and away you go. Initially I thought it was a bit like 'cheap' filament because of the gloss, but dried stuff prints lovely! For the price I can't argue and if it's stays at this price I may buy more in the future

Ich habe 7 von 8 der Rollen auf meinem Ender 3 S1 Pro verdruckt und hatte bisher keine Probleme.
