The Most Important Thing-It Works with Windows 11
I was very skeptical because of prior reviews saying does not run with Windows 11 even though vendor description includes 11 as being supported. The exact wording in the 'readme.txt' specifies that with particular chipsets, Windows 11 will not work. I do not know enough about common uncommon or whatever chip sets, but the driver which is easily available, url in the readme, free download, has an app that checks chipsets before you install. It's TA/TB chipsets that are NOT supported. Was not an issue for me. The rest was carefully following instructions from my logger, Log4OM, step by step. Results can be seen in the pictures I uploaded. My shack computer, HP laptop, now cabled to the ICOM 706 Mark IIG CI-V port.

Definately plug n play
I was expecting some difficulty with the configuration process with this item, but was happily surprised. I installed the interface cable and it was instantly recognized and assigned the correct USB port number. As soon as I accessed the remote software my ICOM display popped up on my screen. No issues at all. Great interface.

WORKED RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX ,BUT HAD AWFUL RFI. NEEDS TO BE BETTER SHIELDED OR HAVE TORROIDS ON IT.

Bot for ANY Mac os
said there were drivers available for Mac there are not. This is windows only and even then only older versions of windows. They use an older prolific chipset not the required FTDI chipset for later versions of macOS.

Not for Windows 11
I'll keep the one I bought cause I have an old computer with MS Windows 7 installed and works fine. Just an advice to the seller, show that is not compatible with MS Windows 11. I looked at Q&A, Information and Description, none of those says nothing about it.Me quedo con el cable porque tengo una computadora con MS Windows 7 instalado and trabaja bien. Solo un consejo al vendedor, muestre que no es compatible con Windows 11. Yo busqué en Q&A, en Información del Producto y en la Descripción y no dice nada al respecto.
