Good overall, but will probably not buy again
If I could, I'd give 3.5 stars. I love the shoe itself. My husband and I take dancing lessons about 3 times a week (salsa, tango, foxtrox, hustle, rumba, chacha, etc etc), and these look EXACTLY like the shoes that the company sells, for a fraction of the price, though they feel a little flimsy. Now keep in mind, you get what you pay for. They fit very comfortably, and the heel size is perfect for comfort. They were made poorly though, all around the edge of the shoe, where the materials were glued together, you can see the glue! White lining against black, so it's very easy to spot. They are also seemingly hard to lace up and make tighter, but that may just be user error. All in all these are great shoes to practice in, and very comfortable to dance in. I would totally recommend these to someone who is looking for dancing shoes on a budget, but personally I will be saving up and buying my next pair from the dancing company as they will be more astatically pleasing and more sturdy feeling.

I use them for swing dancing
These are the most perfect dance shoes ever!Flexible yet sturdy, easy to execute turns, and the height and width of the shoe are exactly what I was looking for.And they are SUPER comfortableGreat for bal and Lindy Hop, pretty much any dance in the swing family although I’ve found it a little more difficult to do Shag in them but definitely manageable, I just prefer to dance Shag in flats so that may be why I notice a difference in my form.I have slightly wide feet so the mesh part of the shoe is a godsend because the shoe molds to my foot depending on how tight I lace them. Also, they look really great with vintage attire which, if you’re a swing dancer is kind of important if you want your outfit to look period correct, but you also want to be able to dance!I love these so much I bought a pair in black :-)They are definitely true to size.

Quality practice shoes for the money
Again AlmaDanza comes through for me with these shoes. I have purchased several pairs and am happy with all of the AlmaDanza products. They were a bit more costly than the others but still far less than in a specialty dance store. The sole is suede; the shoes are mesh with suede in the lacing area, as advertised. There is no tongue which was a surprise but it turns out to be a plus because it cuts down on the weight of the shoe. I was searching for a low heel, these are 1.8 inches, and I would have preferred to find something around an inch.

Cute & vintage look!
I love the simple and vintage look! They are incredibly comfortable and the heel is chunky, so it is stable to walk and dance in. As a tall girl, I am very insecure about my high dancing heels… but these are just perfect. The 2nd time I wore them to my dance class, they did cut one of my toes, but I'm sure the shoes were just being broken into. I wrapped 1 of my toes with a band-aid and continued to wear the shoes. Dance classes after that the shoes have been just fine… no more blisters. I am definitely going to order the black pair of this style. And I have gotten so many compliments!

Good practice shoe
The shoes are very comfortable. As stated in other reviews, the best feature is that you can lace them as tight or loose as you need to accommodate the width of your foot. The heel is a good height so you still get the feel of a ballroom shoe without it being too high. Good practice shoe. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have only worn them twice and am still not sure how well they will hold up in terms of the "netting" staying intact.

Flexible fit. you get what you pay for.
I have purchased a similar shoe before but this pair gave me a blister right away and the fabric on the bottom of the heel started stripping after 2 wears. Simple fix was to wear with socks or tape the area and re-glue the fabric but I've never had to do that before so that was a little disheartening. Otherwise fine product.

Not for wide feet.
It would be a nice shoe if you have narrow/medium width feet. I have wide feet and I thought these would work since they lace al the way from toe to arch. However the sole of the shoe was narrow so my foot would wobble side to side. Sometimes a medium width can work for me. Nice shoe but if you have wide feet it won't work for you.

True to Street Shoe Size
I'm giving feedback only on the sizing. Based on some online reviews as well as the loose fit of a practice shoe like this from another brand (Starlight), I ordered a size 71/2. I usually wear a size 8 or 81/2 in street shoes. I also didn't order the size 8 because that size doesn't have free returns. My toes were very close to the edge. I now know the size 8 is my size in this shoe.
