Adult Gap year!
This book starts off good but as you get just over half way the writer seems to just moan all the time and a lot of what they do does not add up for someone trying to save money...even with a 75% off voucher dining at the marina bay sands your dinner will be expensive ..flying extra flights for the majors and changing hotels as bed seems a bit small gives vibes of someone a little spoiled!

Amazing adventure and a must for any running loving traveller.
The story of a man on a mission, inspired by a man who's mission was to maximise his time on the planet whilst fighting cancer. Nick Butter's story is like a succinct travel guide for the world. If you need to get a fix for the lack of travelling you're doing currently this book is for you. Taking you around the globe in what feels like a sprint let alone 196 marathons, you'll be inspired to want to get out of the chair and enjoy a leg stretch by the end.Where else can you get a review on 196 nations told with humour, honesty and pleasure? Butter is frank is his account. His adventures of how to reach far flung corners of our planet, how to make up marathons on runways, secure compounds, city scape's and within amazing scenery give you a great perspective of the world we live in and the various challenges it still gives us.A story that encompasses his passion for running, passion for travel, passion for photography and clearly a passion for writing and added to a passion to educate through his motivation for the journey.

A real running inspiration and the best travel book I’ve read
Nicks snapshot of every country in the world through the eyes of a runner is so unique. I think it’s a minor miracle and testimony to his support team and determination that achieved such an impossible seeming goal

If you like sport, people, geography, history, natural history, adventure... don’t miss this book.
My book arrived before Christmas but it was instantly ‘stolen’, wrapped and put under the tree until Santa ran by. So I got my hands on it yesterday and already I’m a third of the way through as I’m struggling to put it down. Nick’s writing style is both engaging and informative. This is so much more than a story of him running 196 marathons and paints and incredible picture of the human spirit; both his and the many people he meets on the way. As much as it was assault on Nick’s emotions and body, his adventure has already rattled my tear ducts, made me smile and grimaced as he describes the journey so vividly. A complete triumph in so many ways. If you like sport, people, geography, history, natural history, logistics, adventure... don’t miss this book.

Motivating and inspiring
We had the privilege of Nick visiting our school twice during his journey. Just listening to his talk was inspirational. He's raised thousands for #prostatecancer, a charity close to my own heart after my dad was diagnosed nearly 10years ago. I have been waiting for this to arrive for ages! Finally its here! Such an inspiring man, and he's daft enough to own a vizsla too! If you enjoy running 🏃♂️ at any speed or indeed like an excellent read, then order yours today!
