SRAM excellence, as usual
I bought this cassette as a replacement to gear up my Trek hybrid. I wish SRAM had a standard cassette 11 - 30, but they don't. The original PG cassette that came with the bike went up to 26, as did the lowest chainring. So I was pulling 1:1 up hills... not a big deal on a bike as light as this one but still, I'm not getting any younger. Now I have at least a "2 tooth" differential that helps a little bit. Since I replaced one PG cassette with a slightly larger PG cassette there is no discernable difference in performance. Excellence, as usual. Smooth transitions between gears.Excellent product. Great price. Delivered promptly... excellent service.

Sold on SRAM
First SRAM cassette ever... I should've bought it sooner. I was always swayed by those that said nothing shifted like a Shimano and I had been satisfied with them until just recently. Shimano's lack of 9 speed variety at a reasonable price made me look elsewhere. This thing shifts like a dream. Solid and quiet. It does not shift smooth as Shimano but now I realize that's not the only thing. This thing shifts solidly under the hardest conditions I can muster, smooth vs. solid I guess. It's as light as the compatible shimano enen though it's not really a fair comaparison, IMO the SRAM is much closer in quality and performance to the HG80 which costs more than double.

Excellent purchase to my liking.
I have a 9 speed Ultegra groupset with a triple crank, and this gave me the lower gear I needed. It shifts well. My last cassette was an 11-23. This is an 11-28....Now I have close to a 1:1 gear ratio with the 30 tooth chain ring in the front with the 28 on the rear. It also allows me to NOT have to use the smallest chain ring in the front (30) as much, because the middle 42 ring, and now having a 28 and 25 compensates needing the smallest chain ring. It's a win win for me.

Will not stay in the top gear. Bike shop said it was used
I ordered this for a worn out cassette on a Scott S40. I also replaced the chain and front sprockets.I thought I screwed something up, because it won't stay in the top gear. It shifts down fine, but when you put any force on it, the chain will 'loop' around and recatch.Paid a bike shop to fix it, and they pointed out it was worn. "It's brand new!" I said. He pointed out that the chain doesn't 'fit' on the top gear because the teeth have a weird cut to them. He thought it was wear. I had put on maybe 20 miles testing it out, but the 'cut' was the way it came from the factory. [Update: it's not worn - see update below]Ordered a new cassette from the bike shop. $60 bucks plus another 20 to install. Money well spent.UPDATE: I ended up installing the new cassette myself, the bike shop failed me and never ordered it.The problem isn't the SRAM Cassette, it's the holder 'ring' that came with it. On the outside of the smallest gear, there's a ring that threads into the cassette to hold it all together. The one that SRAM provides has a higher diameter than will work with the chain that's used with this cassette. It 'pushes' the chain up, and then it slips. The solution WOULD be to save the ring from your old cassette; however, I had thrown it away. So when I ordered the Shimano cassette, I compared it's ring with the SRAM ring, and the SRAM ring was bigger. Not sure how it could possible work with the suggested chain, but honestly the SRAM gears are probably fine. So I updated my review from 1 start to 4 (because you've got to "just know" to save that little ring!)The photo shows the Shimano holder ring on top of the SRAM provided holder ring. The arrow shows the width of the Shimano ring. The SRAM is underneath.

Indoor Training can now begin
I bought a Saris H3 bicycle trainer. I needed to add a cassette to the setup to begin my indoor workout sessions. The cassette works perfectly.

Nice gear range.
It's a quality made cassette. The range of gears are perfect for the terrain that I ride on my daily commute.

ultegra comparable SRAM cassette, priced competitively.
I hesitated about installing these due to the SRAM hub profile, but have found that if the correct spacers are used, and the lock nut is tightened properly, the hub should not be damaged by the SRAM weight saving shark fin hub profile. Make sure you use a spacer when installing onto an 11 speed hub, as advised by the wheel/hub manufacturer, or else you will probably see damage as there is very little contact area between the cassette and the hub. this spacer may come with the wheel or hub. I went down to an 11-26 from a 12-25 and couldn't be happier. increased speed capability, but missing out on a few intermediate cogs... not a big deal to me, though some people may see an issue with what I did.

Sweet Upgrade...
This was my first time cycling to the point that I wore out the cassette on my bike. I didn't know where to begin or what type of cassette to buy.I bought this on a dire need basis and was pressed to replace my worn cassette. This Jawn was a very nice upgrade in quality of crafting and speed output while riding...I didn't know what a speed cassette is. Now I do and I like it alot...

Solid, but heavy
Cassette is on the heavy side, but allowed me to avoid replacing my entire drivetrain. Shifting is super South though.

Kasette
Die Kassette Eiert irgendwie und verursacht dadurch komische Geräusche. Tut aber nichts zur Sache. Funktioniert auf jeden Fall 1A. Klare Empfehlung.
