Rust Remover for Concrete (Case of 3 makes 3 gallons)

I’ve tried several products from other manufacturers but this one works the best for vertical and horizontal concrete surfaces. Our basement floor and foundation had some tough iron stains from our well water system. Get a 5 gallon bucket and a few containers of this powder. Mix a few gallons of water and start mopping it. Keep applying and keep mopping. A tough scrub brush works for tough spots. Warning it turns into a gel and is very slippery when wet. Use some ice fishing cleats to keep from slipping. There’s some foul odors so have some ventilation fans going. P.S. iron out works great for tubs, sinks and toilets.

It works! I had overspray of dry iron particles from adding iron to my yard. The entire driveway was a deep rust orange. I was in despair thinking I would have to have the driveway refinished or even possibly repoured! I gave this product a chance and it works! Within a couple hours I completed half the driveway! It did not take much scrubbing with a metal brush. It probably didn't need the brushing. I just ordered 3 more to finish, as each 22 ounce makes one gallon of gel, and it took 3 gallons to do 1/2 the driveway. So it is pricy, but IT WORKS!!!! Highly recommend!

It is rare that i would gush about a product but this rust remover is AMAZING! Weeks ago a battery in my motorhome blew up and left terrible stains the length of the driveway. I mixed and applied the remover to the stains using a shop broom. All the stains disappeared in minutes with no scrubbing! Two notes for users: mixing all the solution is challenging. I mixed a gallon of water with a bucket of the chemical and there were a-lot of clumps that did not mix. The same was true of the second mix. Also, the gel formed on the concrete was challenging to remove with a garden hose. Therefore i would recommend a pressure washer for the removal.

At first it is good, but after several days, the rusty color coming back.

This stuff actually works. Removed Rust Stains from concrete. Also removed battery acid (rust like) stains from golf cart off the concrete. Some tough spots required multiple applications, but follow the directions, do not mix too much at once. Very happy with a product that actually works.

I used the Singerman Laboratories Rust Remover for Concrete on some concrete patio pavers that had some Moss Out Moss Killer from a rotary spreader stain the concrete with brown spots. I tried power washing the stains with power washer cleaner but that did not work so i tried this product. The Moss Out is iron based and when the iron got wet when it rained it formed rust spots all over the concrete pavers. I mixed the product in a bucket and applied it on the spots and let it sit for 15 minutes and then power washed the pavers and the stains magically were gone. I would highly recommend this product for this type of rust stain.

I used a paint roller to spread it in sections otherwise if left too long it will turn green. I had this happen and I immediately spread some more product and rinsed it after a couple minutes which helped a ton. I’m not sure why when mixing the gel it left white clumps of the product without fully dissolving but my guess is since I used a wooden paint stick to mix but it still worked. I would still purchase again, very pleased.

AMAZING! We had some very dark rust spots on our pavers from our irrigation sprinklers. The before picture was taken almost a year ago. The rust was actually darker than shown in the picture. I found that pouring the mixed product onto the pavers (as shown on a YouTube video) was wasting too much product because it was seeping into the cracks of the pavers so I poured the mixture into a plastic paint tray and rolled it onto the pavers with a clean paint roller and attached a long handle. No bending or getting on hands and knees. It was so easy! I rolled it on, waited maybe 10-15 minutes so it wouldn't dry up in the sun, and simply rinsed it off with a hose. They look brand new and you can't see any lines from where I stopped and it meets the other pavers. Will definitely use this again for future rust.

We had rust stains on the concrete from garden pots and we tried several chemical and non chemical solutions and high pressure hosing to remove the stains. Nothing worked. This product removed all stains first try. It's just magic. Finally a product that does what it claims to do. Thank you!!

I had rust spots on my concrete fro lawn fertilizer. This product was excellent and i highly recommend it for rust removal. Followed the directions and with very little effort I had all stains completely ( not slightly), removed in 30 min You can't tell where any stains were and the product did not discolor the concrete. Very happy
