I have never experienced such a smooth wireless technology. It is basically plug and play with an LG OLED C9 and the app is just a bonus if you like to fine-tune the audio, which most people don't want or need. There is no latency / lip sync problem whatsoever and this is regardless of source including TV, streaming apps (Netflix, YouTube etc), external media player, 4K UHD, Blu-ray and media files regardless of type and size (2gb to 60gb). The transmitter also has a built in IR receiver so you can use a universal remote control if you'd like. It has been announced that Dolby Atmos is coming to WISA this year and with it having no latency issues I could see this becoming a new audio standard in the TV industry along with earc. AXIIM LINK (APP) The app is very basic in its UI and you can choose between preset equalizers or setup your own. You can also setup each speaker's equalizer as well as volume on each speaker. With an LG OLED TV you don't need the app to regulate the volume, but you need it if you use an Xbox One. I couldn't get the app to find the transmitter on my Android phone but it found it straight away on my iPad and it downloaded the latest software update for the transmitter. Before this download the TV found all speakers and all of them worked but it wouldn't play 5.1 on all ports, discs, files and apps I tried to use. After the update it could play everything I tested. LG OLED TV It works flawlessly when it is up and running, but whenever I turn on the TV it takes a few seconds before it switches to the WISA speakers. Just like it can be with having a soundbar on any TV. Every once in a while it says it can't find the speakers when I turn on the TV but a second later the message goes away and they are connected and working. It can also make a clicking sound for a few seconds when this happens. I can't tell if this is LG's software, WISA or the Axiim transmitter / software causing this. I guess this is due to it being a fairly new technology and only a few updates have been made since launch. This is by no means anything major and it hasn't caused me to rethink my purchase or my opinion about the setup. It's the same delay when turning on the TV with my Sonos Beam soundbar on one of my other TVs. PLATIN MONACO 5.1 The speakers look like classic bookshelf speakers and the build quality is very good. They are esthetically pleasing. But I wish they had traditional removable speaker grills either included or as an option to buy. The sub is the only speaker with physical volume controls. For all the other speakers you need the app if you want to change their levels individually. The sound itself is very good. I've tested anything from old 5.1 tracks to Dolby Atmos and it all sounds great. The dialogue is always clear and the sound is very balanced. I've placed my sub under one of my sofas on a carpet to not disturb my neighbors. Their own promotional video on YouTube has it placed under the IKEA TV stand Stockholm. I have that TV stand and the sub is maybe 1/3 inch (0.5-1cm) too high from actually fitting underneath it. It is so much better than any soundbar I've had including Sonos Beam as well as traditional surround sound speakers. SUMMARY The easiness of the technology, no latency, a designated center channel, not having to use a receiver and run speaker cables all over the place, the low price tag and only having to use one remote control means I recommend WISA, Axiim Link and Platin Monaco 5.1 to everyone who owns a compatible TV or an X Box One. The technology is new and companies like Sonos have a much better UI and more features in their apps and a traditional receiver + speaker setup would probably give you a richer or fuller listening experience. But in a normal home for a normal user, this is the best solution where you get ease of use combined with great audio. Personally I will stick with these speakers for a long time and just add additional speakers when they roll out Dolby Atmos later in 2020. Review: WEAK BASE - happy with unit. for the price it does what i want it to do however, i definitely like more base. I am just one of those people that likes the booms and rumble sounds and this system is definitely not the one for that. I am keeping the unity because of its technology and not using up my wifi and slowing down my other devices by adding to the load. Sound quality aside from the base issue is pretty decent. I am no expert and i do not have decibels to quote you but for a unit that i purchased to watch the Superbowl it did not entirely disappoint. If i end up getting what i really want in the future i am happy to move this unit to my x-box room and enjoy the surround with the gaming in that room.

Amazing!!!
I bought this Platin Monaco 5.1 Immersive Sound System primarily for my XBOX gaming and it's a great speaker solution that truly puts you in the game! I was able to set-up the 5.1 surround speakers in just a few minutes and all synced perfectly with the XBOX for an elite gaming audio experience. My son loves Monaco for games like Battlefield and Call Of Duty: you can hear the action behind you putting you in the center of the gaming theater. My daughter loves watching streamed 5.1 entertainment content from Netflix and Apple TV while I’m partial to live sports. NFL games rock!. Quick and easy setup, great WiSA immersive sound, and affordable price, I highly recommend!!!

Just stick with a sound bar or anything else.
I purchased this with hopes of convenience and decent sound. Unfortunately, neither were true. Upon receiving the system, I promptly connected everything as instructed and was immediately given grief from my 2019 LG OLED. It recognized the adapter, then found the speakers but after that - no sound. I then reset everything and tried again. Still no sound. After two or three attempts, I begin to hear random beeping and static, so I believe it’s starting to work. Nope. Fast forward and I’ve downloaded the Axiim app to update the adapter firmware (even though it’s not mentioned anywhere to do this). Well, that didn’t help either. So I used the Axiim app to toggle between Xbox mode and then back to usb audio mode. Bam! That worked. I started to hear things. Now that I have sound, I put it through a trial of movies and music. The sound is decent, but not amazing. Controlling the volume occasionally worked with the tv remote and occasionally worked with the Axim app. Never was it seamless nor fluid. Adjustments to its audio settings in general are quite clunky. All in all, I think there’s hope for the WISA stuff to be awesome, but for now, I think it’s too soon - at least in terms of ease of use and sound quality. That said, in its current state I’m not recommending it. In fact, I’m boxing it up now and returning it then it’s back to the ol’ sound bar. The sound difference between the two are not that different.
