A beautiful clock that I have in my home office. It has kept time well over a number of months. The clock is silted and the second hand is almost soothing to watch. Highly recommended.

Beautiful design. Not the best one to read, but you only needs few ms more to catch the time. I think it’s a matter of adaptation. A bit expensive nevertheless.

Bought this large battery clock for our kitchen wall. The black colour scheme makes the second hand virtually invisible - except for its white tip! An unusual feature which always draws a comment from 'new' visitors!. The clock is silent, keeps excellent time running for over a year from a Duracel AA battery. You will expect no less from Braun!

I really like the look of this clock - very modern and the hands appear to 'float'. From a distance it almost looks like some kind of digital display rather than real hands. The white on black hands are very clear and visible from a distance, although the numbers are not quite as clear due to their relatively small size. The yellow-tipped sweep seconds hand is nice and smooth. Accuracy so far has been very good. It is well constructed with a reassuring weight. The bezel feels like hard metal to me, but I could be wrong. If it is plastic, it's high quality. I like the way the mechanism is hidden via a twist-to-release back panel. I deducted a mark because the mechanism is not entirely silent. It's not 'loud' by any means, and much quieter than a ticking clock, but you can hear a slight whirring sound in quiet room if within about 3 feet of the clock. You probably wouldn't want this mounted above your bed. I doubt this is a fault, and on closer inspection the mechanism is a popular mass-produced Chinese item. Seems like a stingy choice for a relatively expensive German branded clock. I own a Seiko clock of similar price and the Seiko branded mechanism is silent unless you press your ear right against the glass. Aside from that, it's a very attractive clock, is well made and I'm pleased with it.

Contempory design very accurate

Sadly a faulty unit - running about 25 minutes fast a day. Love the aesthetic and the smooth sweeping second hand. Sadly the minute hand is sloppy, tilting the clock from side to side the minute hand moves from side to side more than one minute or 6 degs. I calibrated the second hand with the minute hand taking into account approximately 55 seconds of slop on the minute hand, I managed to get that to work, when the second hand reaches 12, the minute hand is centred on a minute marker. I then hacked the movement by pulling out the battery slightly after setting the time forward and calibrated with an atomic clock. I had the clock set 8 seconds fast then hung it on the wall. Sadly, after a few hours the clock was 2 minutes fast and after 24 hours is it now 25 minute ahead of time. The time gain doesn't seem consistent. A shame as I love the look of this clock. Clock was first set at 10pm, first photo is at 6:55am the following morning, second photo is at 6:15pm later the same day. Silentness: It is a very silent clock.
