A FAB little DAB radio.
If you're after a decent little dab radio that's fairly cheap, then you won't go wrong with this.UI: 5/5It's menu system is extremely easy to use and it finds a very good selection of channels (something for everyone) and has a better selection of features than most radios in this price rangeSound quality: 5/5Out of the box, it doesn't sound very good, flat with little clarity and no bass.BUT going into the equaliser settings (custom) allows adjusting BASS. TREBLE and LOUDNESS improves the sound hugely. It now sound clear and punchy, for such a compact device it's very satisfactory. It's a solid feeling radio, well built with tactile controls and an excellent user interface. An amazing little thing. 10/10

Plug and play and good looking too.
I got this to replace another radio that makes changing stations a bit of a pain. This one is simple to use. I plugged it in, switched it on, had to wait for about thirty seconds for it to tune itself and since then I just plug it in and switch it on when I want music nearby. The display panel is very good-looking and doesn't make anything more complicated than it needs to be. Selecting a station is easy. Reception is very good and the sound is clear. Probably there's not as much bass as some people would like, it sounds like a radio and not a home audio setup, but it was exactly what I wanted, and it wallops out quite a loud sound without horrible distortion. It looks very nice and I am very glad I chose it.

Easy set up and use. Versatile
Superb clock radio. Loads of really good features. Easy to understand & set up. Big plus is the display which can be customised in all Manor of ways I.e. Brightness, brightness time out, clock faces etc. The clock display for instance has the ability to show time in traditional roman, modern analogue time & large or small digits as well as 12 or 24 time. Very clear to see the time yet 'not in your face' way as to disturb your beauty sleep. Love the sound quality also with more than a enough personal adjustments to suit anyone's ears including bass and treble also a graphic equaliser is in the mix. (no pun intended). Very stable and sturdy with a gorgeous matt finish to round of the look. Only slight negative points which aren't many - the sleep mode is a little bit fiddly to set, especially when you may or may not need to use it every bedtime. Note to manufacture (what about a separate easy way to use sleep mode, maybe press and hold power button for example to set various times). One other small gripe, if inserting or replacing the 4 AA batteries - the battery door is far, far to tight to open. As I found. In the end l used a disposable glove to get a grip. Anyone would find this task very awkward let alone someone who has dexterity issues. Best to avoid batteries altogether if possible, then there is no need to open battery door. My use is for waking in the morning via radio, which includes a gentle lower volume and increasing to your personal set volume meaning the radio gives you an 'soft awakening'. All in all a beautiful piece of kit. Even comes with a card to register it and you get a bonus of three years cover free. Thoroughly recommend it.

Great little compact radio
Got for a beside table, easy to set up for time and radio stations that were easy to store. The radio is compact and has a good look, so is easy to place in a small space. The sound is crisp and clear, with a good level of base, no tinniness. Great value for money too.

Useless as cannot use without headphones
Plugged in and tuned in great but no sound from speaker, can only listen using headphones which is not what it was brought for.

A Good Buy
I use this as a battery-powered bathroom radio mainly for speech on Radio 4, sometimes music on Classic FM. The speaker is good for its size, the large colour display excellent for a reasonably priced radio, especially in DAB mode for details on what's playing. Presets are accessed by displaying the list and scrolling, with separate lists for DAB and FM. It would be nice to have two or three dedicated buttons for presets, but size and cost dictate I suppose. There is a 21x14 cm manual which covers several clever features I don't need but fails, unless I've missed it, to cover the setting and use of presets - which I do need! So that for me was a case of trial and error. Unexpectedly it picked up lots of DAB stations, even without the telescopic aerial extended, although signal strength is better with the aerial. I can't yet comment on how long batteries will last. Overall, I think it was a good buy.

Great little DAB+ radio for the price.
Upgraded to this DAB+ to listen to talkradio (UK). Really pleased, looks smart, easy to use. A nice analogue clock on the display in standby. Love the big volume and tune knobs. My one can be a bit distorted with bass sounds, even at modest volume, but you can set your own EQ and turn the bass down - fine for me as I use it for speech radio. 5V transformer included. I only run DABs on mains power, as most DABs of any brand are heavy on batteries - about a day's use in my experience. Overall a great price for a nice bit of kit.

This is a good little radio if you wnatvin your kitchen while doing some cleaning but it should not be advertised as an alarm because it is not.
