Works like a charm. However, I had not used one before and envisioned it would somehow remove the copper crimp ring without having to cut the pex tubing to the fitting. That is NOT how these tools work. You cut the pex pipe close to the fitting then remove the copper crimp ring. Consider this a pro tip. If you need to just change the fitting without cutting the pex you'll need to try with a hacksaw and try not to damage the pex or the fitting while cutting. Good luck with that risky plan.

This works great. Ordered it after I crimped a connection and realized it was to long. I didn't want to loose the fitting so I bought this.

This tool was a life saver and much cheaper than what the tool stores sell theirs for and works just as good.

Well designed for the intended purpose. I have used this product several times and it has more than paid for the cost by saving all of the fittings ready for use again.

This tool is very VERY flimsy. All the rivets are loose so the head of the tool has 1/4” play so when your trying to squeeze to cut the crimp ring it’s constantly moving which makes cutting it extremely hard. Manufacturing defect maybe on this one?? Feels like it’s going to break after a few more uses.

I chose this product because it is made in North America however it is very poorly designed. Does not work well on copper crimp rings at all, the steel is much too thin at the head so the tool wobbles all over the place while you’re trying to use it.I would not recommend this tool.

No good, the product so shaky. It’s like it’s gonna broke. I will return it and buy the brand we have at the shop.

This product is garbage. The tool is flimsy and does not work properly. It cannot cut any PEX pipe and is useless. I do not recommend anybody to buy this.

This is the perfect tool to easily remove crimp rings from Pex without ruining the fittings.
