Value, service, and product all are top notch. Our fish love the food. We start giving it to our koi when the water is around 60 degrees. Quality ingredients (especially look at the first 3 on the label) throughout. Compare Dainichi to others options out there and you will better understand the value and quantity.

Awesome Koi food!!
I Love this koi food, and so do my fish. I have not had any heath problems with my fish since I started feeding this product, I think it is the Clay, and the outer coating that help my fish stay so healthy. I also use a product called Koizyme, together, not a single sore, or anything for over 2 years!! And my fish look super awesome!!

Fish seem to love it but I've lost 3 since using the food and my ph is spicking , something I never had a problem with before. Don't know if it's the food or my filtration system, I still need to do more tests

Koi and goldfish love this food. Use it during warm months for the last two years. Fish have shown significant growth.

Among a few others, this food is preferred by my young kois. I got the medium size pellets, and they are a little big for my 3 inch kois, so I have to crush it.

Great summer food.
Great food for your Koi for summer. It gives wonderful color and the fish love it. A little more money but worth the price.

My koi eats anything I feed them but not this dainichi fish food. It’s hard like pebbles.
My koi eat anything but this dainichi. One of my big koi, he eats anything I feed him but he doesn’t like this food. He tasted them and spit them out right away. The food is really hard like a small pebble. One of my 4inch koi ate it and he kept swimming backwards and twisted his body like he choking on it. Other koi tasked it and just went down to the bottom of the pond and didn’t come up to get some more. Then after couple hours later, I went back and fed them tetra koi food, it’s like they got their lives back. They ate them all and was begging for more like they usually do. Too bad I ordered 5lb bag. I trusted the reviews too much. I should have got a small bag just to try out. I’m wondering if I can return this. Beware!!! The food is hard like a little pebble rocks. I think it can kill the fish. I decided to buy it just hoping to get better food for my koi, but I think I have to go back to regular food.
