Doctor Who Dalek SEC Bluetooth Speaker with MIC, LED's and Sound Effects, Best Doctor Who gift in the Universe

So I waited for over a year to write a review of this item so that I had enough time to fully experience it. I bought this for my wife as she is quite the Dr. Who fan. I have to say, this is a fantastic buy. The sound quality is quite good for what I considered to be a "novelty" item. It's right up there with some of the more expensive, smaller Bluetooth speakers. In addition, the battery lasts for a very long time on a single charge. I have seen it go a full week, being used for an hour or more a day, before needing recharging. The Dalek phrases is says when connecting and disconnecting are hilarious and my wife still smiles when it connects. Even my children love it and ask my wife to play music through it often. Overall, I am giving this a five star rating because of the quality of the item and because it continues to make my wife smile over a year later. Excellent product which I have already recommended to others.

This thing is so awesome, my husband absolutely loves it! It connects easily and stays connected via Bluetooth really well, the light flicker to the beat and it has a decent volume. I wouldn't use it for a party or something of that nature, but it is great for just hanging out. It speaks and has some cute little catch phrases, the first few times I used it, it made me jump out of my skin because.. Well.. Dalek voices in my house! Would buy another and definitely recommend! So cute!

Got this for my Doctor Who fan father for Christmas...and he loves it! Works wonderfully, the voice chip is awesome. He was playing with it while we were on the phone and it sounds exactly like the show. I told him it would give me nightmares, as I'm a fan as well! I was worried it would not get to me in time to re-mail it for Christmas, as it wasn't a prime item, but I got it in plenty of time! I would order from this company again.

I was not expecting him to be so big. Any sound, whether it's music or from a movie, sounds perfect. He is really loud when powering on and off and when searching for a connection. I do recommend to turn him off with the switch on the back instead of disconnecting from bluetooth or turning off with the button at night or it will scare the crap out of your family.

The Dalek speaker is very nice-looking. The lights are fun, and so is the voice. My chief complaint would be that the speaker does not go very loud. Other reviews lead me to believe it would, but it really doesn't. The voice files seems to be quite loud (with no way to quiet them), but music goes to what I would call "medium quiet", at best.

By far the most exciting item of functional decor I have purchased to date for my office. I knew I would love it as a lover of Dr. Who, but it exceeded my expectation in also having great quality sound. When I stream Spotify it sounds fantastic, although most of the time i listen to BBC News while working.

Another fantastic product! As with the Bad Wolf TARDIS, set up was a breeze and the sound quality and effects are brilliant. I also brought a second one and also the Assault Dalek because at these prices they make perfect gifts for yourself and other Whovians in your life. Oh how I wish they had a Dalek Ironside version too!
