Smooth tasting coffee
Great coffee!

Very Good Coffee!
I had this coffee at a restaurant in town and had to ask for the name so I could have it at home. This is very good coffee... I had to purchase a coffee maker so I could brew it. Don't get me wrong, my K-Cups are awesome, but this is worth the effort to run through a traditional coffee maker.

Wonderful Coffee
I have bought this coffee several times from vendors on Amazon. I just wish my Publix grocery store sold it and the price was cheaper. We drink it hot or cold. We enjoy our coffee on the mild side and the 17.6 oz bag lasts awhile since we probably use less than other people. I try to have it available whenever we have guests. Someone always compliments on the great taste. I have also given a bag as a gift to the coffee lovers we know. I am doing it again this Christmas. I triple the dry amount and make a stronger brew when I drink it cold. I use one-half gallon of fat-free milk and divide into two half gallon glass containers. Walmart sells ones that slide easily into the side of my refrigerator for less than five dollars apiece. I use my coffee-maker to brew a large pot of the stronger coffee and add it to the containers. I also use 4 droppers of the liquid Sweet Leaf Chocolate stevia (I have found it the cheapest at Vitacost.com) to keep the calories down. I don't like using artificial sweeteners and am really trying to limit the white sugar in my diet. The drink gives me enough of a buzz to make it through the afternoon without wanting a Coke or something else. Now I know it is not like drinking a mocha frappuccino from Starbucks but, for me, it is a great substitute and a lot less expensive. I also like the mild caramel after-note that I taste with this coffee when I drink it cold. It is handy to have onhand when I need something fast -AND- the two half-gallons last me all week. I have also tried substituting peppermint stevia and that is nice, too.

Great coffee; though not the same flavor as commercial liquid concentrate
Great coffee, but if you're trying to match the commercially (only) available liquid concentrate, this isn't quite it. We're big fans of the Douwe Egberts available from "instant-flow" commercial coffee dispensers found in many restaurants around the U.S., but haven't been able to find retail or home versions/quantities of the concentrated liquid that you can order from either the Douwe Egberts website, or other commercial coffee/food distributors' sites (to include the frequently $3,000+ dispenser unit). So, we tried this ground blend. It's very good, and the flavor is similar to the liquid concentrate, but if that's what you're looking for the same coffee that you'd get in restaurants (like we were) this isn't quite it. We haven't yet tried other Douwe Egberts ground blends yet, so are hoping that another one will match the concentrate.

My favorite coffee.
I love Douwe Egberts coffee! It's by far my favorite. It is smooth and full flavored. It is never bitter. I have found this coffee by accident many times in my life so now I buy it. Each time I am out having coffee and have "the best cup of coffee I've had in a long time" it turns out when I ask "what kind of coffee is this?" it's always Douwe Egberts. From a hotel in Billings, Montana to a country club in Geneva, NY to a B&B in Glasgow, Scotland. I'm so glad I am able to order the Aroma Rood since it is the specific coffee I had in Scotland. It's more expensive than the brands I find at the grocery stores but the flavor is worth it. I save it for my weekend coffee so I have the chance to drink it and enjoy it. Not drink it on the go. I highly recommend this coffee.

Currently my favorite coffee!!
This is currently my favorite coffee to drink! I like to try different brands of coffee all the time. I went into this knowing that this stuff would not be as good as the concentrate. Let's face it, this is approx $ 20 compared to over $ 100 for the concentrate liquid. I first tried this coffee at a dinner at work which was catered. I asked the waitress what coffee they were serving and she brought out a box of Douwe Egberts liquid concentrate caffeine free. So I immediately went on a search on internet. I found this ground form and while it's not as good as the hundreds of dollars worth of liquid concentrate, this is still very very good coffee in my opinion. The price is not bad, especially since your getting two of these. I was used to buying Dunkin Doughnuts brand and this is not much more. This came vacuum sealed. It was very fresh when opened.

Marked as a two-pack, received as a single.
I received ONE package. Thought it was a two-pack. Described as a two-pack. Kind of expensive coffee for that price. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN.
