I was working on re painting a classic wooden porch swing, when I had to break down and purchase a tool unlike the scrapers i had accumulated from friends and those I found in toolboxes and such. This thing revolutionized my project. It scrapes EFFORTLESSLY and the knob provides control and pressure for easy and intentional placement. All edges are sharp right out of the package. Arrived 1 day early on prime membership. This thing blows my electric scraper out of the water. I am very happy with this purchase.

This paint removing item works great.Have one that is over 20 years old and still doing the job.Newer one has plastic on one part,old one All metal.But its Heavy duty and will last A long time Too.

How hard I press, direction I push/pull, angle... I just can't get this to work reliably. It'll work perfectly for a few minutes, then suddenly it will become difficult to work at all. I think this tool is only good on paint that is already easy to remove. I've reverted to using a safety razor.

Good quality scraper with a larger handle and easy grip. The scraper has a reversible blade as well which is nice, once it becomes dull, you can simply loosen the screw, spin it around and have a fresh blade. There is lots of surface area on it so you can use it with 2 hands if necessary to really apply pressure. I purchased the 1" blade on this so I could get into tight areas and between things. Overall I tried 3 different scrapers and this was the best for applying lots of force.

I used this scraper during a paint-stripping project, and it made the task much more manageable. The scraper comes equipped with a single plate that houses four distinct edges, you can simply rotate the plate to access a fresh cutting edge.

This thing as a beast! I bought it to scrape shingles on an old house and the only thing wrong is it's a little too big (my error). The old shingles warp (curve outward on the edges) and this is a bit too big to get into the warped areas but if you have large flat areas to scrape then this tool will make short work of the job.

Works perfect to remove old paint in tight places where sander won’t fit.
