just installed in my 2008 335xi, n54. They look identical and seem to work just fine. idle was very smooth after popping in the new ones. no odis or coding needed. If you’re buying these keep in mind the intake and exhaust plugs are the same. so reversing those connections will cause the same DTC to appear. i didn’t have this issue but it’s a common mistake and i presume what happened to some people in these reviews saying they don’t work.

I've driven 200 miles since I installed these vanos sensors. My check engine light comes on and off as well as my idle is all over the place. I wouldn't recommend these. I have now driven 300 miles and still not working. I had to order new ones from another seller.

I was upset that this product showed up used, and I wanted to ship them back. I was in a bit of a pinch I installed them anyway, and it solved my problem. I'm ok good enough

Have driven 60 miles and car sounds alot smoother. No check engine light anymore and it also contained two when I only needed a vanos cylenoid for the exhaust side. Definitely worth the money so far. Will report if change in product.

The valves are pretty close to the originals, but the brackets are just a little off, and the vehicle does not recognize the parts and gives a continuous fault. I ended up cleaning the originals really good and reinstalling those, with no issues since.

Installed just like OEM and corrected the timing and oil consumption immediately. Cleared the old codes and ran diagnostic with no new codes. Engine light went out.

Didn’t fix my issue. I put these in hoping they’d get my car running again, but it gave a code after installing these. I had to put the old ones back in to get the codes to go away.

These fit perfect on my 2011 bmw 328i and they worked fine. Cannot comment on how long they last since have used for that long but if you need a quick and inexpensive fix then I recommend.

Highly recommended it is great after we installed no more rough idle no more engine check good parts
