I have always found this particular “device” to be effective for focusing on the abs. It not only helps isolate the motion but helps protect you against additional strain on the back.

Good Ab Machine
didn't give it 5 stars as i found it hard on the neck. worked well when I used a travel neck cushion. Recommendation, use a softer material (possibly gel) where the neck rests.

Head rest is not comfortable
The head rest is very uncomfortable.
