Good quality, comfortable grip
The handles are a comfortable size and shape. The carving blades are set firmly in the handles and are sharp. Good beginner set, reasonably priced. I've used them successfully on wood and lino.

All you need for starting out lino block printing
Good sharp tools. Handles feel good and fit your hand easily. I didn't want the really cheap ones that you have to keep changing the blades and I wasn't sure about the really expensive sets. These fit the bill just right. The set does not have a 1mm V grove. That's one that will be needed so I ordered one separately. The price was reasonable enough. So, it's a nice set of tools to start learning how to carve lino block without spending too much. They cut rubber pads and battleship gray equally well.

Great Knives!!!
I do a lot of wood carving (caricature, ornaments, and stuff...). I use FlexCut, Morakniv, Ramelson, Robert Sorby, and other carving brands. I was quite surprised of the quality of the Power Grip brand. The blades are sturdy and sharp. They maintain an edge for a very long time. A leather strope and compound (green is usually good enough). I find that they also sharpen easily. The handles are very comfortable and they do not roll around like some brands. I believe that beginners should always start with quality, affordable knives. These knives are good for all levels of carvers. This set also comes with a nice plastic case that when opened raises the handles for easy access.

good tools for the price. I can imagine a better design, but you are getting your moneys worth.

Works great
Works great, used for my linocut projects! Pretty sharp so be careful at what direction you are pushing towards, Hand slid through the lino and I cut my finger but that was a me issue!

The best small collection of carving detail tools.
Razor sharp edges right out of the box.

Very nice 5 piece set
Very sharp out of the box. This set contained 5 carving knives: 2 rounded gouges, 2 skew chisels and a "V" gouge. The handles are shaped comfortably and have enough weight to let you know you are holding a tool (as opposed to another set I purchased that feels more like a pencil). The tools come in a plastic flip-top case that makes it convenient for use and storage.
