These a well made from heavy welded wire that does appear to be stainless steel. After significant thought and discussion this might be the most economical and effective way of keeping your gutter pipes from clogging with leaves. They won't keep the leaves from accumulating in the gutter, but they will probably prevent them from clogging the down pipe which can be a serious problem, along with being difficult to clear. According to some, if you put the perforated screens over the top of you gutters there can be problems with ice build up in the winter time. Therefore I decided to give these a try as it's a cheaper solution. . The gutters will still need to be cleared out after the fall season, but these are a very sturdy well made solution to keep the drain pipes from clogging with leaves. I chose the 3" ones and bent the bottom wires to fit a 2" hole because the 3" ones are taller than the 2" ones and are less likely to get clogged.

These worked for our common sized residential gutters. A little bending of the prongs (with pliers) that hold it into the downspout hole keeps them from moving or coming out.

The filters are very well built but would need some "bending" at the base to fit in a regular rectangular opening found in a typical US gutter system - they should last a very long time once installed. The rest of the stuff in the package is useless junk.

Doesn't rust and blocks out larger debris. Wish they made a Rectangular sizes for 2"×3" & 3"×4" downspouts

These gutter filters seemed like a great idea but I found that my gutters still backed up with water because the screen itself gets covered up with leaves. Hooded gutters stay clean longer but even those eventually get clogged. Nobody has come up with a permanent solution to gutter maintenance yet that I know of.

These leaf guards serve a different purpose for me: keeping rats and squirrels out of my gutter downspouts. They use them as shortcuts from the ground to my roof.These items are built to last. High quality stainless steel, hard to reshape or deform. They are round and my downspouts are rectangular, but they are big enough to securely block the openings. The wires are spaced far enough apart to allow leaves to wash out of the downspouts. These are the answer to my problem and I recommend them to anyone who is having the same sort of issue.I'd buy them again!

i bought the 2" option based on dimensions on the website and what i measured for the spouts on my gutters. this is definitely too small.. need to get the next size up and i am too lazy to climb up the roof again.. urghh.

Perfect fit, tight fit, durable, rust free, good value. Expect to have to remove them at least once a year and still heavily clean your gutters. These will keep the debris out of your downspout. But your gutters will be more clogged with debris since it is not getting past these. It's worth the trade off to me.
