The ticks have been unreal here this year. I was literally pulling 2-3 off of my dog daily no matter what i tried on him. Topicals, horse fly spray, herbal collars, even bravecto did not make a difference. The ticks just kept coming! In desperation, i figured I'd give this a try. Put it on him about a month ago and I did pull one more tick off of him the next day, but I have not found a single one since! I can't say how it handles fleas because we didn't have that issue to start with, but it's been a lifesaver with the ticks.

I have three dogs that I usually buy the flea and tick pills for but I needed something cheaper temporarily. The pills I buy are $25 and last 3 months. The collars weren’t even $4 and are supposed to last for 7-8 months. I honestly wasn’t expecting them to do much but I was pleasantly surprised. We live in the country on a farm where they run around freely. We had been having a horrible issue with ticks. But once the collars were on for over 48 hours I’ve not gotten another tick off them. They didn’t have any fleas before I put the collars on them so I can’t say how they work for fleas. We’ve never had an issue with fleas since we moved here. I haven’t seen even one flea on them even when the pills wore off and ticks were crazy so there must not be any in the area. I did notice that one of my dogs seems to scratch more for a few days after I put the collar on him. But he doesn’t have an issue now. It’s been a couple months since they started wearing the collars and they’re doing so well that I’m thinking this is what we will do for fleas and ticks from now on. As long as they continue to work anyway. If they work for the 7-8 months it says I will have saved around $200. That’s freaking crazy! Even if they don’t work the 7-8 months they’re supposed to, it’s been well worth the money. The only issue I have had with the collars so far is when we first put them in the dogs they kept coming off them. The latch isn’t great. With my lab we tied something around the collar so it couldn’t slip back out the latch because his kept coming off. Probably with help from him. The others stayed in place after putting them back on once. It’s really not the worst problem but annoying because we would have to hunt the collar down. That’s why I gave only 4 stars instead of 5

This product is junk at best and at worst could be a health risk for your pet. I am convinced that anyone who gave it a good review just lives in an area with very few ticks. We recently took our dog with us to my parents farm. Early summer is tick season, which is why we purchased this collar. Over the course of a week we found around 50 ticks on our dog. Several of the ticks were on his neck/head....the area CLOSEST to the collar. I found 3 ticks that were dead. The rest were alive and well. This product is garbage/fraud. For the health of your pet I would highly recommend you avoid this product.

I bought it for a small dog. Its pretty big. Fits a big dog. Is it effective. Mnnn let's just say dog still has fleas. Its a stray dog so I can't expect miracles.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:As I just put it on her, I don’t know exactly how well it works. I put it on her yesterday. She still scratching a little bit, but not nearly as much. Smells good the best way to describe it is just clean lol
