In India, we don't have much options for USB-C Downstream (65W) Monitors and, as a MacBook Pro user, i needed a monitor that didn't require me to put on a dongle and a charger every time i want to use my Monitor. This Hp 243d with it's built in docking station works perfectly with MacBooks. The Display quality is sharp and colours are bright too. Also, do note that finding this particular model (243d) off-line as well as Online is quite a task, it is not easily AvailableI'm going to list out the Pros and Cons of this MonitorPros:1. The in-built webcam and microphone also show up without any hassles on the MacOS. This is a good point as MacOS or any apple OS doesn't work well with third party accessories.2. The Monitor has a good option of Daisy chain and comes with requisite cables to pair another monitor using the first monitor, including power supply. So, if you want to use 2 monitors, no need to plug it in separately.3. There are ample Ports on this monitor, It Comes with 4 USB Ports, 1 HDMI Port, 1 DisplayPort OUT, 1 USB C with Power Delivery (65w) and DisplayPort, 1 VGA, 1 3.5mm Audio In and 1 Out, One LAN Connector, One High Speed USB Port. The Most Important and the port you would buy it for would most certainly be the USB C with DP.4. The Monitor has a low blue light mode which doesn't put much strain in your eyes and is anti glare which reduces strain too.5. The Monitor is VESA Compatible and the stand that comes included is actually very practical. You can set the monitor to Portrait mode or landscape mode using it, Adjust height and tilt as well. It Really helps in getting that comfortable viewing angle.Cons:1. Premium of almost 15K for the Docking Station but, all monitors have this sort of premium for this feature, specially USB C.2. The Webcam and Mic have a spring loaded mechanism which hides them when not in use and you need to press them to bring it out. Although this is a very nice feature, the mechanism feels somewhat flimsy. I Don't know how long it would last.3. MacOS will never treat the monitor's USB ports as its own safe ports. So, whenever you plug in another apple device say, an iPhone to sync, you will have to give permission and trust the computer every-time you plug it in, this isn't too big an issue but still a hassle nonetheless.4. When you connect a laptop after the monitor has been left on standby for some time, you need to restart the monitor and sometimes plug in the usb C cable 2/3 times to make it detect the laptop. This might be isolated to just MacBooks but still a hassle.Compared to the 3/4 options i could find from Dell and LG, this one seemed to offer the most Bang for my Buck and , hasn't given any problems so far (been using it for more than a month).Although my rating for this product doesn't reflect this point, one bad experience i had was that the MRP was listed as 36K and after discount i got it for 31,990. In Reality, the Monitor i received has an MRP of 32,333. This made me feel cheated but, since i needed the monitor i kept it.

Wasn't that useful. Could have opted for simple monitor.

As per Amazon this monitor should come with VGA port and cable but no VGA cable was provided along with the shipment. For IT equipment and accessories its always better to purchase directly from branded shop, never from Amazon as there is no guarantee that you will receive complete order & Amazon has sick lengthy procedure for replacement and missing items.

in-built speakers missing.so the single wire connection concept is null and void.The webcam is 2star out of 10star.Mic is 0 star
